The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is the grandparent of roguelikes to me. With a unique art style and a dark theme with gruesome bossfights and horrific imagery, no other game can actually keep me coming back again and again to replay it and try to get through a run. Not to mention, the literal hundreds of unlocks make the game great for replayable value, as I feel it will take quite some time before I "Complete" the game. Definitely give it a shot if you like roguelikes, it's a classic.

This game is over 10 years old and I have played it over several platforms for hundreds of hours and I am STILL finding content that I never knew existed. Absolutely incredible.

SUPERHOT has gameplay that is so intuitive and simple but feels so fluid. The game flows so well and you really feel like you got into a groove while playing, learning how each AI behaves and how to counter it's behavior to eliminate it. That said, the game is difficult. You can't just run into an area guns blazing because unlike many other games, the AIs don't act like a brick wall. The game has the perfect amount of challenge and interesting and unique gameplay without being too complex, which I appreciate a lot. If you're into hack and slash games but want to try a new twist on it, definitely give SUPERHOT a shot.

This game spawned a whole genre of games to follow it, and is so classic. It's fun and unique, and to top it all off is completely free. Give it a shot with friends for some extra fun, even if you don't like traditional shooters!

Honestly this game is pretty good for a free game. It is very similar to Hearthstone Battlegrounds to anyone who has played that, but with many improvements upon the flaws in their system. It does feel like you get demolished sometimes because of the luck of the draw, so there's not all that much skill involved in this game, but the gameplay is mindless enough to encourage you going back to play another round.
