Updating this review: My previous issues were a result of hardware issues that I have since fixed so I've now been able to enjoy this game to the fullest, I must say SE really outdid themselves. This game is fantastic but my favorite part is by far the gameplay. It's like a hybrid of Devil May Cry, Kingdom Hearts, and Tales of Arise, taking elements of all 3 and making something fresh and that's really a pleasure to play. I would definitely recommend it.

It's a really amazing game and despite a very troubled development cycle and a rocky launch I can confidently say this port is the best port of any Square Enix game ever released on PC. It runs really well, looks gorgeous and supports almost any controller.
