Solid game, a little challenging. Great style, and satisfying gunplay. Worth picking up

Solid Quake-Like game, easy to understand levels with a decent flow. Would recommend to pick it up on sale.

Game is fun, guns feel decent and the goofiness of the game's style is charming. I also like anything that looks like Quake 2 so this fits the bill pretty well. Only complaint is the level design and that's what I always look for, lots of bumbling around to find where to go next. I'm finding more secrets in a map than I do where to go next most of the time.

Fun half life mod. One thing I look out for generally with old school fps games is how much time I'm spending running around in circles trying to figure out where to go, and this mod doesn't have any of that.

The game is fun when it gets fun, but I will have to join the bandwagon and say this is the least enjoyable sam game in the series. There's too many levels that are a pain in the ass to traverse in or are just multiple dark rooms that look the same. The game also has some enemies that re-occur that are just flat out not fun to fight against, one being the witch, which you have to wait and shoot at while she's grabbing you and locking your controls.

For every 2 or 3 segments in a level that isn't fun to play, there is a segment or two after that feels great, and it's quite fun when it does it right.

As a GZDoom mod, it's very impressive, inspirational, and immersive. It's most likely my hardware, but there are some optimization / lag issues in some locales. The worlds are surreal and vibrant, and the gunplay feels satisfying. Not particularly an easy game. Great sound design that is abstract and satisfying to listen to.

Very fun game...

Pretty fun and cute game, but I'm terrible at it. The town management feels good. There's always a sense of urgency when going out to kill things, hoping that the town isn't declining.

Probably the best Serious Sam game, maybe better than the first encounter. Far from being creatively bankrupt, and the update revises and provides a fantastic mod that makes the game way more fun. It's easy to tell the developers had fun making this.

Very good first impression so far, really nice game. Looking forward to spending more time on it. First person mode is a nice little novelty for a few seconds for immersion, but the lack of the healthbars on the enemies and some other quirks make it nonviable for gameplay.
