Good game, worth your money. Especially if you like cute pixel art styles and liked the idea of No Mans Sky, but hated the execution as we all did.

The only problem is a lack of depth. With only 5 types of stars (which dictate the general difficulty of the star system), about 9-10 individual planet levels and under a dozen basic planet types, things can get boring when you hit end game pretty rapidly. If it had 2 more star types and another dozen planet types, this would be alleviated.

But even with this in mind, its more than worth 15$!

I'm going to take a moment here and compare this game to the act of taking a dump.


Taking a dump is better. I've had ♥♥♥♥♥ far more satisfying than this, and never had one more frustrating.

A little bit confusing at first.. but its very fun after a while, especially if you're playing with someone who knows what they're doing!

I.. wow. Uh. I don't really like racing games, but no matter how hard I try, I can't think of something negative to say about this game. Obviously, it may cause seizures in some? But that should be a given and hardly counts.

Even the few gravity-related bugs you might experience while magnetically flipping your car from a standard road to an upside-down one are just plain hilarious and enjoyable. This game is amazing. I'll revisit this review after trying out the rest of the modes.

Very enjoyable, and recieving regular updates. Alpha 10 just came out, and with it comes the first iteration of the character creator (skin colors and hair options missing, unfortunately), new buildings and loot crates, interactive debuff system and many other new shiny gizmos. If you've been considering purchasing, now's the time!

October 22 2016 update:

This game is still delightful, still a bit buggy here and there, but definitely improved from the last version I reviewed. Many more character creating options, minibikes, trader NPCs, crafting benches, a beautiful dynamic weather system and catwalks are just a few of the nice additions.
