🧠 About JH – Paradox Modder, Grand Strategy Veteran, and Indie Game Developer
I’m JH, a long-time Paradox Interactive veteran, dedicated optimization modder, and now lead developer of my own indie grand strategy game: Genesis of Realms.

From the early days of Crusader Kings 1 and Europa Universalis 2, through countless hours in CK2, CK3, HOI2, EU4, Stellaris, Victoria 2, and Victoria 3, I’ve spent tens of thousands of hours immersed in the world of grand strategy. These games are more than a hobby — they’re a lifelong passion.

🛠️ I specialize in performance and optimization mods, cutting down lag, improving load times, and ensuring smoother gameplay without altering core mechanics. My modding work has always focused on enhancing the experience for all players.

Today, I’ve expanded that focus by founding and leading development of Genesis of Realms, an indie space 4X grand strategy game created in Godot.
As project lead, I direct the game’s design, manage development planning, and guide the vision of the project. I use AI to assist with asset creation, design iteration, and testing, while keeping the core game experience community-driven and faithful to the genre I love.
