Resident Evil Requiem is a marriage of Resident Evil 1-6 into one wild plotline making it the ultimate Resident Evil experience.

The beginning half played through the eyes of Grace and takes heavy influence from the first few games in terms of resource management and playstyle. The idea to have each zombie carry out their final living tasks around the manor was one of the most creative and genius decisions I've seen in a Resident Evil game and reinforces hope they can keep this series going strong. The special zombies are just as unique and creative making Grace's part of the game genuinely flawless.

Leon's section of the game takes a lot of notes from 4, 5, and even a considerable amount of 6. The action is a pretty stark change of pace but (depending on your expectations) generally welcomed. Leon's portion was also great but falls a bit behind that of Grace's in my opinion.

The story is gets a little ridiculous in it's campiness which is to be expected but some of the writing just falls flat. The most notable blunder is in writing Grace's character as an FBI agent while having her be totally incapable of not stuttering her way through a sentence or God forbid keeping calm. Just seems a little out of place given her position.

All of my complaints really boil down to nitpicking as this Resident Evil game is truly one of the best.
