The best word I can use to describe this game is just slop. If you want any content that isn't 8 years old, you have to pay extra for it. Performance sucks for no real reason. The ai feels like it was written in the span of a week. The crew chief somehow has the most annoying voice out of any racing game I've ever played. The ui design is just netflix but worse. Controllers are agonizing to use, despite the ui being made for a controller. The whole game is just corporate waste. Buy any other racing game

You know how the original pvz was a polished game? Yeah this isn't. Cut scenes just pop in and out, the fade is completely broken somehow. Music is always going full blast, drums and all, even when there are no zombies. The beautiful sound track of the original feels so bland because of that. Zombies all play the same sound when getting hit even if they are using buckets or cones. Text looks really wacky and is almost hard to read at times. The loading screen randomly appears when changing levels. I've heard rumors of fake concept art being put in the game, and while I can't personally verify if that's true or not, it wouldn't exactly surprise me at this point. It feels like someone spent about 2 weeks making a clone of plants vs zombies, but it's made by a AAA game studio. It's a genuine shame. Save your money, buy the original, or emulate the console ports, cause this ain't it. Hopefully it'll get updated at some point in the future, but I don't have high hopes

Actually decent now. Still a few issues here and there, but it seems aspyr is working to fix them. Still not really worth full price, but if you see it on sale I'd give it a shot. (if you have the original versions, it's probably not worth upgrading tbh unless you really want some minor patches that can mostly already be done yourself)

Walking in on a clone of yourself commiting a murder is something you can only experience while playing this game.

This game is truly amazing. It has very addictive game play that keeps you coming back for years. Every time you die on a level you keep coming back because you know that you can do better.

I hate octagons.

This game would be amazing to play but I'm getting severe fps issues. The game stutters constantly tinkering with the graphics settings doesn't do anything either. This could be an issue with my setup though as I have yet to find anyone else with this issue.

One of the best games I have played. The physics are insanely realistic, there is a wide variety of different types of vehicles, hundreds of interchangeable parts, and it gets updates every season. I think the absolute best part about it though is the in game repository. It pretty much allows for endless content. Overall probably my favorite racing game on steam. Also fridge.
