Unturned is just something else.

I have played just under 2,000 hours of unturned since 2017.
The game is an ever evolving and ever changing masterpiece of player creation and creativity.
On its default settings, Unturned is a fun, forgiving and easy to understand survival game with unexpectedly diverse and developed mechanics. But the fun of unturned does not come from its default form. Unturned in its default form will entertain you for hours, days even should friends accompany you.

The real joy behind unturned comes when you modify and expand upon the game using the steam workshop. The community for Unturned has made countless genres inside of its simple sandbox, people have come together to create clans, communities and servers.

Unturned is a sandbox of near limitless potential.
People have used it to create servers dedicated to ArenaPVP, RP, Battle Royale, Survival, Kits, Creative and Community based play. Unturned's community is it's lifeblood, its heartbeat. The community managed to turn just another block game into a true playground of free will and imagination.

Unturned encapsulated my childhood, and made friends that I still hold dear to me today.
There is no way to put into words how amazing this game is if you can find a good server, or community behind it.

Unturned is not free from criticism however, and I must say that it feels (at least to me) that this game has passed its prime.

But for a free game that you could run on grandma's windows 95?

Its a damn good game and I'd recommend it above all others like it.
