no golden room in first room? esc > exit game > new run > no golden room in first room? repeat until you get a golden room in your spawn room. This can also be applied if you get ♥♥♥♥ item for the first item in the run

2 words, Its Amazing.

Seriously though, this game so wonderful to play.
Here are some key Notes.

-Graphics- If you're looking for 8k realistic graphics, your princess is in another castle, but we're fine with keeping this princess. God the graphics are so wonderful, I love the rough feel of the textures, but damn did the devs hit on how the wind ever so slightly pushes the trees, and the blades of grass moving along with the wind so off the charts.

-Immersion- This game has hit so many areas that TRIPLE A GAMES LACK. I've play several survivals games, but not once did I ever see that you can die from the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ smoke, built my first house, put a fire and started to die because I couldn't breath 10/10. NOT ONLY THAT, but when you first set sail on a decent boat, and seeing the boat tip because of the wind hitting the sails god give me more! But wait there is more! Whenever you cut down a tree be careful because one wrong slip and you're done if you're low on health, as falling trees and trees rolling down a hill will turn your experience into indiana jones. Because that rolling or falling tree will mess you up!

-Mechanics- You have a stamina, hunger, and health bar. The Hunger and Health bar play hand in hand with each other. Hungry? Well prepare to die quicker because the higher the food bar is, the higher health you'll get. But wait there's more. The Food gives you health regen, the higher quality the food is, the better the health regen per tick. Not only does the food bar help your health, it also helps your stamina! Once again the higher the food bar is the larger your stamina bar. Overall I love these Mechanics so much.

Along with those you have a limit with how much you can hold at once (here's a little tip, ORE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SUCKS THAT ♥♥♥♥ UP). Base amount of how much you can hold is 300, going over that amount will cause you to be encumbered, causing you to be unable to run, and just walking drains your stamina and you don't regain your stamina from standing still, you'll need to stop carrying whatever is causing you to be encumbered or remove junk.

-Difficulty- This. Game. Is. Hard. There is no hand holding with this part, you'll go through several stages, 1. Meet a new enemy. 2. Learn new enemy will ♥♥♥♥ you up. 3. Learn how to kill said enemy with ease by either technique or gear. and go ahead and repeat these steps. Oh and water is not your friend either. Boat however is your friend.

-Lore- If you think this game doesn't have lore, go out and explore, this game is filled with lore you just need to search for it.

Overall I can't wait what the devs bring to this game, and its already amazing of how rich this game while keeping the size so low. So stop reading this review and buy the game already, its already worth 40 dollars or more.

Its a really fun game to play, however the grind to buy new gods can be disheartening to people, for example my friend he somewhat liked the game with only basic gods and some he bought with favor, but after he bought all the gods dlc or whatever he really enjoyed the game now

love making my friends rage quit, and hearing the blessing sounds of them leaving the discord call one by one

If you see this game, and you're thinking of buying it because of the reviews, don't listen to them. I have played the game since xbox 360 days, and this game is a blast. Now if you're wanting to play multiplayer, you do have to jump through some hoops, but that's not the games fault, it was made a long time ago when games for windows live was a thing. The best solution I can tell you is to launch the game through the xbox app on windows 10, and it should do most of they heavy lifting. Games for windows live will be asked to be installed several times, don't worry that's normal if that happens.

Huh... I stopped playing the game, I didn't know the game forced a gender on you. I thought I was just getting a random black dude alot of time, and I was fine with it. But now I know that it was forced on me.... now I'm just gonna plain out not gonna play this game anymore.... The game dev went full sjw.... and I hate Social Justice Warriors.

I make things short and simple. If you want to have fun and a challenge then get this game. But be prepare for some really strong monsters, and sometimes (a lot in my case) bad teammates, like ones not doing their role correctly.
There will be some maps you hate, and some you love. I don't like the idea of every character costing a crap ton. If I could change how the pricing for character would work, would be if you start buying characters they would be cheap, like the first one, but after the first one the pricing would start going up more and more, and for the new characters that get released they would be expensive from the start, but after a while of them being out their price would drop. Overall its a fun game if you like teamwork. And now with the latest patch, the wraith will be able to do more damage for the players that like to go on their own (which is never a good idea).

Game is abandoned, do not buy.
