It's MTG (just a bit downgraded) as you would've expected.
Has animations, sounds etc.
Doesn't have a good crafting system.

Choose the Japanese voice option at the start.
Go full anime protagonist .

Just a mistake, fixing this mess takes all the joy from playing the game once you're done fixing it If you manage that is .

The game is incredible.

I came to this game already knowing the character is meh but thought the story and combat would make up for it. But the story is build upon one boss and through all the story you keep wanting to fight the boss and it is so anti-climactic once you meet the boss fight level. He is just big, nothing complex to him no mechanics nothing... he slams his fist you attack his fist. Even all the previous bosses were more interesting and had different unique attacks.
List of abilities that you can buy with the points is kinda empty, they just have 2 or 3 levels of power that is listed as subcategory of abilities. If you take out those subcategories, it is quite empty looking.

Disappointing.

He won't be as tall as he really is, instead he will be same size as handler height-wise. Also handlers voice and her animations But still Best Value DLC you can get.

Very enjoyable!
The game looks astonishingly beautiful and is absolutely massive in every possible way. It has an incredibly insane amount of items to farm, cosmetics to acquire and maps to explore and create your personalized builds and looks.

- A weapon arsenal with varying skill depth that you can master or go with simpler weapons that can be used on the go without much learning required.

- No weapon is bad, you can pretty much do the same amount of damage with all weapons.

- Monsters are designed and animated beautifully. With some of the best hitboxes ever. (checkout MonsterHunter on HitBoxPorn subreddit)

- There are 125 unique event quests to enjoy and event items to be collect. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and content just gotta farm.

- You have a cat companion and it has weapons and armor sets as cosmetics. Will accompany you in quests if you are a loner or going as duo.

- There are varying foods in the restaurant that has a master-chef cat ,his underlings are also cats, if u purchase Ice-borne DLC then the master-chef is a grandma cat. you have different foods with different boost effects.

- You have the "X gonna give it to ya" skin for your handler that is always gonna be with you somewhere in the missions. (Skins for handler are not free) (Though you can mod anything for free tho)
- Ah yes *M A S S I V E* MODDING community behind the game and MODS ARE OKAY to be applied to the game. Approved by devs.

- Can harvest your own supply of plants material.

- Have your own room/living-room+yard+pond. You can decorate it to your will from the hundreds of furniture items and pets you can gather from around the maps.
And invite your friends to your place and play your song on the phonograph (Comes free with the place).
Can dance together via the emote feature (there are free and not free emotes)

- Many free DLCs , check the DLC list on storepage, gotta download em all.

Downside of the game is a... pretty average story.
And the amount of information dumped onto your brain is pretty overwhelming, and might push you away from enjoying the game. tips : focus on the part of the game you like, and if you need to learn somethings you're stuck at just look em' up and learn as you play.

** If you do decide to buy it, buy the "Iceborne Master Edition" which includes base game +Iceborne DLC. It is an expansion DLC, almost as big as the base game. **
