I have seldomly seen a dev team so up their own asses about "balance" in a purely PvE game that is still riddled with game breaking bugs, to the point that it compromises people's hardware. It totally has the potential to be a terrific game, but the asinine philosophy behind its continued development keep holding it back.

Adorable, gorgeous, fun, it's just a blast! You've got no reason not to get this game and play it right now!

I'd play more of it, if it didn't still run like ♥♥♥♥.

It's fun, also I'm not a furry

After finally migrating from PS4 about 1,200 hours in my enjoyment for the game rekindled greatly. The progression curve for new players is still a bit wonky, but all in all this game still baffles me with the broad range of good content it has you can engage in.

If you can warm up to the idea of a 2D action adventure oriented sandbox then Terraria can offer more than any other game out on the market right now. You will be seriously hard pressed to find more bang for your buck than Terraria offers.
The sheer replay value, staggering amount of content and extremely broad ways you can customize your experience, character, gameplay and world just simply isn't beaten by anything else out there. This game will keep you busy and allow you to sink evening after evening into it, without growing old anytime soon.
Beyond that it's got a uniquely cheerful tone, without trying too hard to be funny or edgy, despite a healthy amount of references to popular culture.
I envy everyone who can play this game for the first time again, and I'd highly recommend it to about anyone out there.
