New Vegas is the best Fallout game, because it doesn't feel like Fallout.
Not the traditional blue and yellows and grays and greens of the other games, it feels like its own thing, it's not the story of someone out of a vault, not about someone looking for something that was lost or something that is needed.
Its the story of a person who got screwed over, cheated death, and decided to change the wasteland forever.
This game doesn't feel like Fallout, sure there are Vaults and Power Armor, the NCR and Brotherhood exist, Vault Boy is here, but New Vegas is still lore connected and is definitely a part of the greater Fallout universe, but it feels so different from the other games, you feel as if you really are traversing an old world destroyed by their own wrath and hubris, and to be replaced by survivors with the same ideals or perhaps even worse ones. The characters are spectacular, the writing in this game is phenomenal, its the best visual novel that isnt a visual novel i've ever played, Mr House, Yes Man and Joshua Graham are now some of my favorite fictional characters of all time, even characters i don't like such as Caesar are super interesting to talk to, events matter in this game, when you do something you can get a new dialogue option or their response might be different or how they act towards you might be different. For a game that only had 18 months to be made, they sure put so much effort and passion and talent into it.
Having the same upbringing as the original Fallout, Fallout New Vegas did what it wanted to do, it did whatever it wanted to, it was true passion.

Fallout New Vegas is the best Fallout game because it doesn't feel like traditional Fallout, it feels like a wasteland, a place where humanity once thrived but was destroyed by its own conflict, its own war, it truly feels like a Post-Post Apocalyptic wasteland, new civilizations have formed, tribes, cities, and nations, but at the end of the day, they will always fight, humanity will always conflict with eachother. Blood spills, and many people die just as they did in the old world. New Vegas truly shows the true nature and embodiment of the tagline of the Fallout series, though so far the only Fallout game i've played extensively is New Vegas. but i dont think any of them will be able to truly show and demonstrate that War...

This game is great, great collection of maps, awesome storytelling and worldbuilding, amazing soundtrack and great atmosphere and theme.
The game itself is a dump, lots of bugs, subpar performance but still good(people are complaining WAY too much), AI still needs a bit more tweaking, yada yada yada.
But at the end of the day its still an enjoyable game with a lot of things to like, game is a dump but,
its the best dump on the planet, i love this dump.

600 hours in this game, and 400 of those hours we're played by a dumb kid who had nothing else better to do and had just discovered that there is a multiplayer game about SCP. Secret lab was a game that i had loved for a while, because it was the only game i really could play, but now this game has really just missed the mark by a really long shot, the playerbase is awful and the gameplay just isn't fun anymore, it feels like every player has developed this sense to just try to be funny to the point of finding a joke that people found funny and then beating it to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ground straight into hell, everyone is trying actively to be funny that they just fail at it horribly, mainly because of the influence of many SL youtubers (mainly Frisky) and just the overall community as a whole, as for the gameplay it really has just fallen down really flat, the FRMG being the latest of the many poor decisions the Northwood team has done and this review is already pretty lengthy and i don't want to make it longer talking about poor decisions Northwood has made, and the overall hatred for this game has really reached its peak now and a lot of it is personal but a good majority of it is genuine hate that many people can agree with but its mostly personal stuff that ticks me off about this game, mainly how horrid the playerbase has gotten to the point where im only able to tolerate one server and even then i just dont want to play this game anymore.

TL;DR: This game has a terrible playerbase, the gameplay has gotten stale and unfun, this game sucks, good day to you all
