I bought CS2 as I was a big fan of CS1, and well, I am beyond disappointed, the game doesn't meet any of the expectations or the promises made to us as a community in its current state. to put it simply, the game sucks, no mod support, a shrinking number of content creators, bugs among other issues. and where are the devs? who knows, but probably either fired for releasing this hot pile, and significant downgrade compared to the original title, or working on a new title, as its clear we are not likely going to have issues resolved, as they don't care about this game. it feels like an EA title, looking at you SimCity. and I hate having to say that, now if problems get fixed, especially mod support, then maybe I will take another look at this game, otherwise this game is going to be mothballed, at least for me

TL:DR 10/10

There are quite a few things I have to say about this game.

Firstly, This game DOES work on Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10 and 11, It just doesn't work out of the box, but there is a somewhat active modding community and even an extremely easy way to fix the game to work without mods as well. you're best resource is here: http://hawkdawg.com/

Beyond that, the game is quite fun, while the graphics do show their age, there still is a ton of play-ability left in this game if you can get past the visuals.
Plus this game has mechanics you don't often see in games like it (I.e. OpenTTD, Transport Fever, Rail Empire) such mechanic is input free cargo movement meaning that cargo is moved from producer to factory to consumer without the need of you or other companies, while being slower than rail, it means you don't have to worry about something being right next to the station, as it will still get collected and transported in time, like real life

Now for those interested in modding the game, it does come with a lot of options and opportunities, there is both a community patch (I.e 1.06) and a more extreme game mod called "TrainMaster" which you can find information about at the link I provided above, which both help expand game play and make the game less buggy. 1.06 is also used as a base for many mods, as it is better than the last official update

You know, I have put almost 750 hours into this game and I never once thought to review it. I did want to say I completely love this game, it is very well put together and well maintained for a game released in 2012. The ability to use mods and buy DLC for this game has kept it fresh and the fact that it is constantly updated, including parts of the original game (not just new, DLC areas) which makes it worth every cent I paid for it. 10/10 would buy again

Now Lets Get Serious Because Now I May Not Have Played The Game Much But I Like How Short Synchronise Sim 17 Is Because Even Though I Have BAD Internet (Thanks ComCast) It Makes Connecting With Severs So Much Easyer When Connecting In FS15 Took Like A Half Hour LOVE IT

I recommend this game only if you have all the DLC because then yo can add more mods and having all the DLC just adds more gameplay time
