There are far better people on here at writing critical reviews, giving positives and negatives. For my part, all I can say is this is a refreshing change to what has become the narrative. The game for the price is huge. It's a complete game, not filled to the hilt with transactions and time savers. The game is designed to fill your time with entertainment where you do not get bored. This is what all games could have been if the evolution of them had not been so filled with greed. Anyone saying it's too difficult for another company to do, that because said company hasn't invested in building a game. They invested in building in transactions.

Play the game, enjoy the game and then play it again. Because the story is never the same twice.

So I've been trying to play this game for most of today and just like Cyberpunk 2077 as much as I love it the sheer number of crashes that come along with it make this a very hard review to make.

Firstly I'll go over the Cons:

Easy Anti-Cheat has issues, it will force exit the game and then not allow for re-entry it tried too fast. I've been locked out of playing the game because of this system multiple times waiting for it to come off what must be a cool down timer. However, this isn't the game. It's a system by Easy and it's not up to the job it needs to do.

In large open areas the game isn't optimized well enough to handle it and the only way I've found to get through these areas to to lower the graphics and my gaming experience.

The game will and does crash. I had less sheer back to Steam screens from Cyberpunk 2077. I've had crashes, just playing the game (shooting, looting simply running), starting a cut scene, returning to the lobby, logging into the game,

The graphics are just okay. I would really love for them to be more, but they are not. They are fine at paining a picture of the world and as you play you visit many war torn areas with different aesthetics from forests to mountains and volcanoes to snow filled valleys. Each drenched in bunkers, trenches and mud. So much mud.

The Pros:

The game has a pleasant enough main story that leads you down a pleasant linear path with side quests sprinkled thorough that have no effect on the main quest line, but serve as mini stories within themselves. The main character isn't truly spectacular and I found myself more interested in the supporting cast and their backgrounds instead.

There's an okay selection of weapons, but each one feels and sounds good. Until the world difficulty increases and slowly but surely it feels like you're punching into a meat bag. I really wish the enemies would increase their move set, the way they move and would work better together rather than just getting bigger health bars.

At the time of writing, there isn't a micro transaction or loot box shop to be seen. Everything is unlocked through the game, skins, colours, alternative patterns and designs. I played I was rewarded for playing. Hell even when I reached a difficulty my equipment could not handle the game said "Why not lower the world difficulty and try again" *paraphrasing. Rather than "Why not open up this shop and drop some more money on the game you've already bought and buy this blue gun with epics rounds to win only £30".
If this is more a double A game rather than a triple A, then simply for this fact that these disgusting behaviours are not within the game I'll consider buying more of them in the future.

In Summery:
The game has issues at launch. Every game these days seems to. It constantly needs to be connected to the servers even in solo play to make sure you're not cheating for when you want to join anther at a later date. The servers are struggling and if the game is to keep a good player base they need to be improved.
The game feels good and the story is just engaging enough to keep my interest.
