. Many of us adults have been Mario fans for 40 years, and these movies are just as much for us, if not more so. I went to the first Mario movie on opening day, and was really upset about the number of little kids there. They were loud, messy, and overall ruined the vibe. And because the theater was so full, I had nowhere to put my Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, Yoshi, Bowser, Koopa, Shy Guy, and Wario plushies. I was forced to put them on the floor instead of the seats next to me, even though I bought an extra ticket for their seat. I also brought my Switch to play during the trailers, and two different kids asked me what I was playing, even though I had my headphones in.

Your dad here. That lady is a born warrior. Rodney and I would start jumping into the creeks and the lake in about the middle of of March. We would swim 🏊‍♂️ around until our lips 👄 would turn blue. Rodney’s would turn black. We could not afford swim trunks or swimming lessons. We learned how to swim when the older boys made us take off our shirts and pants before they grabbed us and threw us into deep water. Back then the swimming lesson that taught them how to swim after only one lesson only took five minutes. After that you could swim 🏊‍♂️ or you were 😵. If you didn’t drown, you could climb up on the bank feeling proud in your Fruit of the Looms.
