As someone who love Trails series,
i can say without a doubt this game still nails perfection just like previous title (Cold Steel I & II). Falcom did nail once again with the new Class VII development, other characters and i had so much fun and emotion with the slow pace, bonding time, Free day activity, Minigames stuff & deep story and i notice this game assume you that played previous title especially combat mechanism and lore seems to be connected with previous title to appreciate the story itself.

Within the music, Falcom still nails once again and it become my favorite music especially Spiral of Eboros & Step Ahead and this is strongest recommended for Trails Fan. as for the newcomer to play this series, i suggest play previous title to appreciate the lore itself.

The gameplay itself got some huge improvement from previous title with new mechanism Brave Order to give buff on start battle which is neat system and variety of build for each character, UI seems more modern complex which is my thought great changes, Graphic itself has noticeable change especially character model itself now 3D model (Previous title, u may notice that facial animation more like 2d facial animation) and some design way better than i expected. I find the map design on this game can be generic for some place, the story structure very similar with CS1 and that won't be a problem if you actually enjoyed it without thinking too much about it.
