Also: because it's important to note, yes there are microtransaction but they are really only optional as playing the game earns you enough Super Credits to buy the fancy armours (which aren't statistically better than the non fancy stuff) and the new War Bonds only cost 1000 and only drop every month so you can easily save up to get them.

Better than Balder's Gate 3

After many hours in the game there are a lot of systems that need more polish and a few aspects of the game that seem to have been designed to encourage a play style that is counter to the in game 'realities'. I'm sure you'll enjoy the game if you like the weird mix of city builder and resource management that the game is, but I'm also sure you will grow frustrated as many of the games systems.

Takes a while to get a hang of, pick a nice quite sub to give you time to practice.

Lots of fun, great gunplay, loads of customisation.

I'm sure some people will like this game, personaly I regret buying it and feel that other games do similar things better. For me what kills the experiance is the micromanagement involved in running your colony as soon as you need to introduce colonists to the mix, the resource demands go from quite a low level to everything.

If you like this game, or think it would be enjoyable, I can recommend Anno 2205, whcih does the supply chain thing a lot better I feel, and Factorio which just blows your mind with what you can do in it.
