Technically competent but feels sluggish and unrewarding compared to its predecessor. I finished the three campaign acts once and I have no will to do it again once more to even reach endgame, as the game does not respect my time. The game is not hard, apart from some bosses where you just need to learn the patterns of what to avoid and when, the combat does not feel meaningful, as the devs promised, it is just simply mindnumbingly boring. Zones are to large, filled with small mob packs which mostly just take one combo to finish, but you do the same 3-4 moves over and over and over and over and over and over without ever feeling powerful or finding interesting loot. An ARPG should feel like a Slot machine, where each pack is just one more pull on the lever hoping for awesome loot, one more powerful combo leaving you thinking you just utterly devastated those mobs. This on the other hand feels like a factory workline job: No exitement, no accomplishment, no progress feelable at all. I played for more then 45 hours, and I never experienced any joy, apart from that final moment, when I finished the third act, knowing that I was finally done, that I had seen all the story had to offer for now, that I had reached the point, where I could leave this utterly disappointing piece of software behind for good. I was happy I was done, free of the burden to play more, because with every passing hour, this just felt more pointless.

While bosses are mostlly only slightly overtuned and now leave more room for positional play, feeling only slightly to slow paced, the bread and butter gameplay feels way off in terms of pace. Every random Mobpack feels like a struggle, forcing the player to kite and backtrack over and over in order so save resources and avoid being surrounded. Combat never gains momentum, executing skill combinations does not feel rewarding as you never seem to crush your enemies but constantly seem to fight an uphill battle. Deaths are penalized drastically, by respawning everything in the zone, while wiping every peace of loot of the map you did not grab before dying.

Best description I could give is it feels like they dropped a bucket of dark souls into the cauldron brewing this game, and while this judging by the statements of the dev team was fully intended, they never asked themselves, why Dark Souls does seldom swarm you with enemies or if this is a desirable mixture with a hack and slash gameplay elements.

This will certainly find its audience, but in the current state I cannot recommend this experience to anyone who looks for a fast paced Hack and Slash. This feels like a massive letdown, which I had already feared after watching the prerelease footage, especially as the team took resources away from the original PoE to work on this project.

This is only about MWR
Nothing to say on IW, didnt play it, didnt intend to, just got 5 minutes to be able to post.

For everyone who thinks about buying this for MWR only and expecting it to be true to the original: Put your wallet back in your pants, it's not.

Missing from the remaster:

-Sound Fixes
-Spawn fixes (an in the original spawn system)
-Server Browser
-Visible Ping Numbers
-4 Maps (Creek, Killhouse, Broadcast and Chinatown)
-Solid Netcode that is at least up to par with the one from 9 Years ago
-Anti Cheat System of any sort

What we got what we did not want:

-Matchmaking, with P2P matches more often then not
-10 Tick servers (this is so sad its no even funny how bad it is)
-Supply Drops
-Alternative Melee Weapons
-Rectangles for Weapons
-Charakter Skins
-A whole lot of DLC Cosmetics that were not part of the original game

So if you think back to CoD4:MW and think of it as a simple down to earth CoD before it all went to ♥♥♥♥ and you expect that out of the remaster do yourself a favor: get the old one out, the one with server browser and less ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and dont buy this sad excuse of a remaster.

Also and i cant stress this enough: EAT A BAG OF ♥♥♥♥♥ ACTIVISION AND RAVEN SOFTWARE.

Very deep and demanding strategic and tactical gameplay. Not for peopl who look for much action. Learning to play will take a while, but creating a long dynasty is quite rewarding. Every house plays wastely differnt and has its own struggles.

The Mod that changes the scenario from Europe to Westeros (A song of ice and fire) alone is worth buying this strategy pearl in the pea pot of actions games released nowadays.

Worthy Successor to the Warcraft 3 map and with the new features focussing on the competative scene an absolut blast.

Octodad is a wonderful 3D Adventure Game. While the puzzles are mostly very easy, you will spend quite some time controling Octodad. As being an Octopus on land is quite a struggle, the game recreates this wonderfully with the well designed complex controlsystem and the fact that people will get suspicious if you go all Octo and no Dad. The humor is delightful and even though the whole thing only takes about 3 hours it was a magical time, helping a cute Octopus to be a good father and Husband too his slighty delusional family, that does not seem to take notice of you being clearly no human. The Steam Workshop hopefully grants us many more great levels.

Up Front: I only played the Multiplayer, i can say nothing about the campain part.In Only Got the 5 Minutes of gameplay required for a review, as Steam wont let you review the Multiplayer.

Multiplayer needed 2Gb download on release date, why the ♥♥♥♥ to i buy a gamebox with 4(!) DVD's? To NOT have to download stuff. Either you release a game when its done or you delay the release, this was just bad. Graphics are worse than Black Ops 2, Audio options are nonexisting. Game kept crashing when loading into a multiplayergame due to grphic issues, had to go through all options one by one to find out which blocked me out, only to find that with all to max it still looks like from 4 years ago.

While Playing my first 15 hours I found that more often then not i had very bad pings (you shoot people, die, see the killcam, find out you never fired the 8 shots you know left your gun). Some douchebag at Infinity Ward appearantly thought that setting the maximum ping for a Server to 800ms would be a good idea, and since there are no ping indicators ingame you wont even know. After changing the value manually by manimulating game configuration data the hard way (means with an classic editor/notepad) i had a harder time finding games (had to wait for about 3 Minutes for a server at times) but at least the gamequality was better. The promissed dedicated servers were nonexistant, some websearch gave me an Infinity Ward statement that they will be comming soon fter release. I haven't seen one of them by now, but hey at least IW will save some server money as the number of players willing to put up with this are falling by the minute.

Last but not least this game is a funfest for cheaters and hackers. And while you can try your best to ignore it, once in a while you may land in a hacked lobby. Of cause you wont know that till you try to capture a target in Domination or get a kill and gain 300 times as much exp as you should get. While that can be seen as a kind of boost on your way to max prestige, it pretty much sucks when you find people that are invulnerable, wallbang with an LMG at 50Kills 0Death rates, find out you just got a server where every weapon has amagazine capacity of 2 shots, where scores get manipulated or people run and jump at several times the normal speed like CoD mutated to some kind of Arena-Shooter. All i saw IW do to prevent this was as follows: Ignore for 2 months, try to grab more money by offering a new skin for a slightly overpowered killstreak (seriously? dogs kill before they even touch you? what happend to the good old time where you at least had 0.3 seconds to cut their throat before yours in ripped out?) for one month and now posting a message of the day saying "Mimimi, please dont use their party Programs or we will report you to steam." For me that read like "When you hit me i call my mom" and sadly that is how the cheaters see it too.

The game was a massive disappointment, i am glad i did not get the season pass and burn more money on a technically old, at times laggy and hack and cheater ruined game.

Fast paced, and well designed. Camera could use some tweaks in some situations. It has sort of a steap learning curve, but once you mastered that you will only be slowed down by your own computer, which might get into framerate troubles when you cut a cyborg into more then 350 and more pieces. Story is wonderful absurd and comes as a total standalone for a Metal Gear game. If you have never played MG before you will not be lost, you might wont get some inside jokes. If you played MG before you can forget most everything as this game does not play like MGS but more like DMC. The soundtrack is fitting, dialogues and cutscenes are of high quality. AI and leveldesign are good. Enemies will communicate, try to gank up on you and reposition if they feel the need to. Most levels have been designed to enable the player to choose between an stealth- or fightbased way of dealing with the situations. The overall playtime is not "epic" but nice given modern games lenghs, my first clear took be about 6,5 hours without skipping stuff, but this version includes the DLC's which add up another 2 hours of gametime, plus the VR-Missions that will surely give you even more hours of fun. Given the price on release was 20€ one cannot say that you dont get your moneys worth with this game.
