No, it's not worth it at all. With 1.0 out, the game is still empty, boring, and full of bugs that can either cause extreme irritation or outright cause the need to reverse hours of progress due to things breaking irreversibly. The developers have spent way too much time listening to YouTubers and creeps who have the collective IQ of a wet carpet so they can implement some of the worst "improved" features that replaced the originals that returning The Forest players liked and enjoyed. For example, the Stew system now uses a recipe system instead of just putting what you want in the pot, so you can use what you have on you and instead replaced it with a magical potion system that gives you worthless potion effects. Along with the empty map and broken AI, the game feels as empty as it could possibly be at this point.

Build a ship....
yeah.
that's all you can really do
the misions are broken/ boreing
the "content" is just build a ship fly around very slowly and shoot a ship or so and that's it...
no story.
no clue what the universe is no idea who the factions are or anything and the "tutorial" is useless
may as well have been abandoned.
