Gud game. Perhaps a bit weaker than the first one but I liked it.

I'm gonna be honest. I want to like this "game", I really do, but it is just so hard to like it with the gaping hell of problems it has.

Firstly the good:
-The protagonist and his little robot helper are quite charming
-The areas are also more or less well crafted, and you can see that quite some thought has been put into it

Now, on to the bad:
-What hasn't been thought about much tho seems to be bug testing and quality of life features. The amount of bugs that I've run into are massive. Be it lighting bugging out or the little robot not being able to use his special on other robots or me dropping through a stone, more often than not there was something that stopped me from having fun.
-Otherwise, I've also had misplaced audio files as the audio I was getting was entirely different from the text I was reading.
-The sounds were also a point that was quite off-putting. The attacks from the wrench and the gun sound muffled at best.
-AND not to forget the most atrocious thing, which I am concluding to be a bug of now. In the second area is an elevator which I can not activate by any means.

Now to the missing quality of life features:
-The game is missing a basic save function, leading you to replay the game every time you restart it
-It runs quite okayish I guess, but tbf I would've expected more on a 4080 (it does run above 60 fps tho)
-There is no controller support
-There is no feedback for charging your weapon or companion
-No brightness option, which is honestly the thing that bugged me the most because the game is hecking dark!

All in all, the "game" if I can call it that feels more like a bunch of ideas thrown together without really talking about them or fully thinking them through.
That or there just wasn't enough time to polish it well enough for release.

Truly a wonderful game to play.
Honestly I even think it is worth the 60 bucks you pay for it.

Life is Strange: True Colors is by far the best Life is Strange game out of them all.
The music is, as always, on point. But where this game truly shines is the storytelling and character development that happens over the length of the game. Sure there might be some logic flaws here and there but honestly... which game doesn't have that today.

The only thing is that the letters you write are kept quite short which isn't that nice if you want to answer someone or describe your own issues.
