NOT BAD, just not for me. I feel like it's over praised; it's just an okay game. Not a particularly unique concept, however, it is a unique execution of the concept The concept is like town of salem, but it's much more simple, which is one of the reasons it became such a sensation. A game for everyone. The wider audience your game appeals to the better it'll do. In my opinion, this game is only worth getting to play with friends, and even then I personally have had mediocre enjoyment playing with friends. Good price though.

Ignore the 4 hours of this game I played, I logged most of my time offline. This game is amazing, and deserves a play even if you already played Risk of Rain 2. Experience the humble origins and break the game in many glorious ways.

If you like rouge like games, and haven't tried either Risk of Rain game, you are seriously missing out. Even if you don't like rouge like games, this game is worth checking out because it's really just so much more than your average rouge like. The game play is addicting and has options for anything from a casual nearly sandbox experience, to hardcore difficulty based on skill and/or RNG. Don't like relying on RNG? You can unlock a relic to eliminate that or learn how to make decisions that optimize your chances of favorable outcomes! The graphics offer a fairly unique aesthetic, and when combined with the level design you can find yourself immersed in a beautiful world. Finally, one of the best aspects about this game is the community. You have active developers interacting with the community, so the community has a real impact on the future implementations of the game. All around this game would be one of the few games I feel is deserving of a 10/10, and I am always looking forward to what's coming next.

Godot is a really easy game engine to learn in my opinion. I have tried unity and unreal, and granted, I tried them when I was younger so maybe I should try again, but neither of them just clicked like Godot. Using GDscript to code has been fun to learn; however I have had prior coding experience, so idk what it would be like to learn GDscript as your first language. I have had a really easy time exporting from Blender and importing to Godot too so that's nice.

Incredibly addicting little game. It's fun to be able to kinda just manage and explore the game. I am having trouble getting my people to build lightning rods for some reason. I discover all tech I can possibly discover, then I just let the game run for a long time, and they just never build the new tech. Also, idk how the plague works exactly cause I will make sure they have the resources for advanced meds, and an IQ 200, and they sometimes cure it and sometimes die. Overall fun game, but can be confusing.

As far as idle games go, it's interesting for a while. I've hit a pretty hard wall that I'm not sure I can pass for free.

This is one of my all time favorite games. I don't know how to accurately describe why, but something about the whole game is so satisfying. Earning points to make your ship bigger or unlock new parts is interesting enough that it doesn't feel like a grind. The new parts make me excited to try them out and see what they do. The separate factions are all unique, which isn't common in games. I feel like most games just make other factions kinda re-skins with slight variation, but in this game all the factions have different parts, and those parts usually come in different shapes meaning you literally can't build the same ships of other factions. The weapons have different strengths so if you prefer one play style like long range combat, through experimentation you'll find that it just doesn't work for everyone, and you have to explore your options. The only issue I've ever had is not being able to go through the worm holes, but I haven't tried it in a while so hopefully it works for me now! Can't recommend this game enough!

Best 3D development software hands down. If you want to try this, and have never worked with 3D dev software before, please give it the time it takes to learn and watch some tutorials. I've been using this software for 7 years now (only got it on steam recently), and I started from zero experience. It's a rewarding experience to learn, so learn :)

So I got this game because it looked similar to Terreria, but in space. As it turns out, that isn't a bad way to describe it; however, I find this game more enjoyable than Terraria. The fact that you can travel to different stars and planets, and do missions, makes this game feel very open. I will say I had a little trouble with the first missions as they don't adequately explain how to do everything (or maybe I just didn't read everything), but after you get used to how the missions work they are pretty straight forward. I've still got a lot to explore, and there is a clear "main storyline," so I'll probably have to do that to fully understand the game, but these are my first impressions.

Amazing game if you enjoy any kind of building game. The progression stays interesting with a modular weapon system; the combination of base weapons, elements, and weapon upgrades makes finding new weapons exciting! Alternate captains to play as who have their own unique strengths. Overall, this game is very enjoyable.

The only downside I see to this game is the limited mission types. It's really not that much of a downside, but the main missions you will do are variations of destroy missions or recover missions. For me the ability to create new things to complete the missions in different ways negates the lack of variety. There are some more unique ones here and there, but it would be cool to see some new objectives. Also this is a super minor complaint, but I really enjoy playing as programmer, and I wish there were just a little bit more logic parts to work with. There is probably a way to achieve any logic through the parts provided, but it would be nice if there were some simpler ways. For example, a logic piece where it is given several inputs at different priorities, and will only allow the highest priority input to output to the rest of the system. That would make it much easier to program cameras that focus on just the important ships rather than having a camera that flies everywhere cause you have too many drones doing too many things. I might be able to come up with more logic pieces, but that one was just one that came to mind.
