If you play Satisfactory, this app is by far the best planning and "what if" calculator out there. Bonus points for being multi-platform. My favorite use is to setup a production chain, then plug in a number where I'd like the limit to be (maybe I only want to build 4 manufacturers running @ 250%). It will then fill out the numbers in all the other machines to fit that restriction. Only want to build 20 nuclear power plants? Start with that, and let it tell you how to get there. Want to use all the uranium in the world? Start with a miner that outputs 2100 uranium, and see just how much power you can generate all the way to the end with ficsonium.

Fun enough game...captures the silliness and excessive gore of the original robocop movie. Only dislikes are the crashes, and the fact that once you complete the story in an area, you can never go back. Since the number of skill points you spend is directly tied to completed objectives via xp, if you totally miss something, those points are gone forever.

As a quick VR demo, this thing is fabulous. I've seen so many videos and presentations on the Great Pyramid, but its always those same couple of 2d representations. Getting inside the pyramid, and sticking your head out of the "crouching passages" gives a real sense of where these things are in relation to the interior and the basic geometry of it all. Additionally, the detected void zones from scan pyramids are presented as glowy spots in the interior. When you get to the top of the pyramid, looking down provides a graphic texture of the surrounding areas, but sadly no actual geometry. Same with the Sphinx. Its location is marked on the map, but no actual model is present. Khafre and Mankure are just large polygons with a low-res texture map. But this title isn't called "Giza Plateau", its the Great Pyramid...and it excels at that.

Highly recommended. I don't personally care if people are comparing it to Pokemon...Nintendo/GameFreak have had 20 years to make this game, and didn't. It doesn't give them a monopoly on the "cute, monster hunter game" genre, but it's more akin to Ark/Conan/Rust with a roster of silly creatures performing the base-building, and crafting rituals that are well established in the aforementioned titles. It's a fun romp, and yes...it's early access with all the expected flaws. Pals get stuck in strange locations, perform menial work when there's ammo to be made on the assembly line, and sometimes refuse to be "redirected". But gawd, the premise of this game melding the monster hunter genre with guns...it's an obvious pairing, and the hilarity of seeing your cute, furry friends manning a machine-gun nest to defend the base at all costs is absolutely worth it. I just wish I had the "designers eye" so I could make the unbelievable structures that some people have shown off. Alas, it is not to be. My bases shall forever look like barely organized chaos.

Amazing looking game. The initial parts of the game can be a bit tedious, and outside of a short tutorial on mining and using the anvil, there is absolutely no hand-holding here. The economy does kinda need a bit of a re-work, because once you get past the initial poverty phase and start a semi-automated mining and smelting system, money (hydrocoins) really become a non-issue. The logic store in Bridgepour has a ton of items and minimal descriptions, so building full automation circuits is it's own puzzle game in a way. Day/Night cycle can DIAF...it feels like it's night-time more often than not. Sadly, using the "hourglass" from creative mode to stop time, will prevent achievements.

I'm not especially enamored with this game. I think they should've stopped with TL2, because this game doesn't feel like it really has anything to offer over it's predecessor. They realistically could've added the railmaster and forged to TL2 as a DLC, and I'd have been fine with that. Heck, you could probably add them via the mod mechanic. There's just not enough here to recommend spending money on it.

This game tickles my "must-explore everything" personality, and it's got a real Zelda vibe to it. In that, you have to get item A, to open access to item B, which allows you to break objects you couldn't break before, so you can get to item C, so you can wear cold weather gear so you can survive the biome, so you can access item D, etc. There's a lot of "take this really long path to the next area, so you can open the shortcut" map design. The monsters are slightly challenging at first (poison throwers), but pretty soon, you've got weapons that can nearly one-shot them.

I'm having fun breaking things and searching for new food recipes (the first time you 'cook' it, it applies a permanent boost to your stats). I'm a little stuck right now on finding "lumber", only because I don't want to look it up in the wiki. Good game and plenty of time for the money, although I don't think it'll have much replayability once I complete the story.

Really beautiful game. Creatures run the gamut from standards (tigers, bears, rhinos, hyenas) to fantastical scary things. The environments are stunning, and the "dungeons" feel like real exploration. Running a local server for either yourself, family, or friends is a simple matter. You can make the game as easy, grindy, or challenging as you want to. Base building is simple, although making squares and equilateral triangles mesh together in certain places hurts my head.

Once the final building tier is unlocked, there's plenty of DLC to tailor your builds to whatever "style" suits you...roman, greek, persian, chinese, japanese, etc.
Add in a vibrant modding community, and there's practically no limit.
