It's not bad, the roguelike elements are fun and the characters are unique enough to make them different playstyles, but the
big bosses aren't difficult and are instead bullet sponges with instakill attacks... so if you don't know the attack pattern and don't want to spend 5 mins shooting the same dude... yeah.

The game wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that is the playerbase. The matchmaking does not work at all, so someone who has played since Smite 1 beta can play with someone that is within their first 10 games. Not only does this breed toxicity (because the experienced player doesn't expect to be placed with new players), but also turns off new players (because the experienced players take the game more seriously, and WILL get toxic to the underperforming teammates). I get it from both sides, the experienced players want a competitive game that makes them feel like their time and effort is worth it, and the new players want to try funny monkey man and throw little monkeys at people (or whomever they choose), but with the game in it's current state, there will be no game left in a year. The reason this is so sad is because at it's core, this is a wonderful game. It plays really well, feels very competitively balanced for the most part, and relies heavily on individual skill. All these things make for a fantastic MOBA. If they don't fix the matchmaking, it is a waste of time and money, and they don't seem to care much about that major flaw. If there is an update in the future and I eat my words, I will GLADLY change my review.

This is an absolute gem of a game that any monster catching fan should treat themselves with. 9/10, only because I wanted more.

I don't understand how this has so many positive reviews. Game feels like I have been transported back to the early 2000's, when mmorpg's first started. Janky movement, no input validation, combat effects are minimal and bright pixely colors... Very much needs a rework. Game feels like pre- unreal engine.

It's fun, free-to-play, and easily accessible to all skill levels. Ultimately, I think the mission are usually too short and not very challenging at all. If you are a big fan of reading story, then this game will be right up your alley, but to me it leaves a lot to be desired. Regardless of the anime girl thing, the character design is pretty standard around most games like this. Some characters have English voice-overs, but not all. It's a 6.5/10 for me.

Bought 20 dollars worth of premium currency, 3 days later and I still haven't received it. They will steal your money if you let them. No word back from support either.
(Edit) Received premium currency after a week of purchasing it and 2 support tickets put in. Didn't realize that they wanted to make that process so gruesome. Will recommend the game now, will NOT recommend giving them money.

Good game. Just released, I'm sure the few bugs will be fixed soon. What game comes out perfect nowadays really?

The best game ever made.

Love this game, but unless you plan on doing a lot of file changing or mod downloading, 800x600 is default and won't let you change.

Please play this game, it's seriously so much fun. Learna role and a character you really enojoy and this just becomes so rewarding. Like every MOBA, you will have your bad teammates from time to time, but it's definetly very visually appealing and feels very polished.
