Even if you "disable" the profanity filter in Steam's language preferences, rather than applying to the entire site as it should, it will continue to filter "strong profanity" in certain places (like community guides), showing you "♥♥♥♥". However, you can still disable the filter globally, just put ".*" (without quotes) into the text box under Never filter these words in Community Content Preferences and press enter. You should now be able to see ♥♥♥♥ and other such profanities, regardless of where they exist on Steam.
