game itself is pretty dope though. cool mechanics and no unga like Drive Impact. if you get a match with about equal your skill the fights are really fun.

Premium battle pass costs 200 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ points, but smallest package of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ points is 300 points for 3€. However you need to buy this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ from your steam wallet, which has a minimum funding level of 5€.

How about "Go ♥♥♥♥ Yourself". Shove these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ points back up your ass.

Doesn't help that the game is also ♥♥♥♥. Canned stance mixup ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with install crap is what you can expect. Guess twice for round. In season 2 they gonna double down on this ♥♥♥♥. Meanwhile, online queues are infested with smurfs and script users because Bamco is only interested in selling MTX slop. Their idea of cheat mitigation is an excel sheet that's probably been forced on the unlucky, lowest rank dude in the office that gets to deal with data entry into that sheet on top of all their usual work.

TL;DR: game is MTX vehicle slop for zoomers that gobble up gacha game practices, then ask for more.

UPDATE April 2025: Season 2 rolled in hot and what can I say. As predicted, devs have no clue what they're doing. Every character is getting more shoehorned into the heat stance rushdown mixup archetype. BUY ONLY IF YOU NEED A PARTY GAME THAT MAKES EVERYONE SALTY MFers.

Very bad optimization. Assetto Corsa looks better and runs better than this game.

Half the operators are behind a grindwall so high, you'll have to play several hundred hours to unlock them all.

Or pay 5€ per operator.

EA sends it's regards, do not buy.

still ♥♥♥♥ netcode after over half a year of open beta. only try hard veterans of the franchise are playing this game, so you will get curb stomped every match. lots of hackers, but the developer does nothing. except updating the ingame "microstransactions" store, lol.

Update:

Performance and netcode are just getting worse. Players with high ping have a huge advantage now with client side hit detection. Stuff for lootboxes and the store, however, keep piling up. Last "Dev Stream" was a cosmetics show case.

This franchise is done. And I'm done with this franchise.

The game is really awesome. Only there's a gamebreaking bug where you can't finish a game because it's stuck after you click "End Turn" after about 100 turns in. Haven't finished a single SP scenario because of this. Game also gets very, very slow after about 60 turns and constantly consumes ~50% CPU. I guess it's probably dual core optimized (4 cores here).

No idea how this managed to leave early access with these kind of bugs. No idea about MP, but there seem to be problems with desyncs later on.

Advice: wait until this is fixed.

Infuriatingly laggy controls. 99% boring grind (mobs) to get to the 1% you actually find interesting (bosses). No lore, bare bones story.

Listed specs are TERRIBLY misleading, you'll need a much better rig to run this game.

I had terrible input lag and constant audio stuttering with everything but my GPU (GTX660) @recommended. GTX660 is an absolute minimum requirement and only if you hate yourself.

Bad console port with awful and laggy controls.
