Ignore all the hate and bad comments in these reviews below. Why? because i've been a PES Fan since the first PES 1 Game on PS1 , and this PES 2017 has one of the best Gameplays (it just reminds me of PES 6 combined with PES 2013 and 2016).
So why do people complain? Simply because it has bad Graphic Quality for PC + Missing licenses. For the bad Graphics you can add SweetFx or any other Graphic Mod that you can find in PES-Patch webiste (just google it). And for Licenses? If you didn't know yet, there are like dozen of PES Patchers who work so hard every year to fix licences and kits + add new cool things for the game.
My best Patch is PTE Patch (which will be released in these following days). If you want, you can check my YouTube channel where i post lot of tutorials about PES games, just search for "Del Choc" in YouTube. One final thing, i'm not promoting the game nor i like Konami, it's the opposite i guess (for many personal reasons). Just wanted to give my honest opinion that's all.

if people are whining about graphics go buy the console version..they wil still whine even then.

Yes, the AI is kind of Advanced learning AI for PES 2017! This is how Konami described for PES 2017 AI : " The Artificial Intelligence (AI) system is going to be more intelligent in a way the offline matches will study through time how you play and try to accumulate these info to counter your style (for example if you repeat same strategies to score, the AI of PES 2017 will try to find better solutions to stop you). "

What always annoys me in PES is that playing against AI is either easy or frustrating. In PES 2015, it is so hard to dispose the AI of the ball due to AI's maradona's dribbling ability and wierd ball physics. In PES 2016, whether you win or loose, it is never realistic because the AI scores at least 1 goal. All the results in all the games is something like 3-6 or 7-5. Every game was the same, too many goals and a margin of 2 to 3 goals. AI's advantage in pes 2016 was the intelligence of his attackers, precision of his high throw balls, and dumbness of our defenders.

My question, is the reliance on scripting to make the AI challenging huge this year?

"Simply because it has bad graphics for PC", is it only the graphics? I understand that the PC version runs on the old engine, as in PS3, and the engine affects both graphics and gameplay...

No amount of sweetfx will make the game look as good as the ps4 or xbox one version. This time around they also included denuvo, which makes it impossible to pirate the game. They simply gave the pc community the middle finger this year. Their last argument (piracy) is solved, yet they still do us like that.:steamsad:

For servers i heard they are in Japan but i'm not sure.. And yes Konami doesn't give a f**k about PC gamers! However, compared to FIFA glitchy and sh*tty Gameplay, i will stick to PES!

+1 I agree, though you kind of answered the question of "why do people complain". They ripped off the PC version. Agreed that there is a lot of work you can do *yourself* to make the game pretty and enhance it, the point is that Konami were ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lazy and really let themselves down. To me it is unforgiveable. That is why the negativity exists.

I agree, even though they did rip off pc gamers, it is still a good game.
