Solid sequel to great gamę. Tons of new maps, recipes and online multiplayer (too bad that sometimes its hard to find opponents). Sometimes feels too easy. 9/10

One od the best co-op games there is. Whole OC1 does not allow you to throw objects and its slightly harder I find it superior to OC2. 10/10

This review comes from a person that does not play open-world games much and never played Witcher series.

I was sceptical and ignored Cyberpunk for the most part from the day it was announced. While I like shooters somehow I never enjoyed open world games (apart from GTA and Borderlands series) that much to wait for it. This lead me to have absolutely no expectations whatsoever towards this game. As wise Count Dooku said once "Twice the pride, double the fall". I believe that some people had so huge expectations set by marketing department of CDP that it had to disappoint. Luckily I was convinced only a day before release to check it out and as a result I was able to experience it "as is". So how is the game?

Story
Let me start with something that usually drives open world games for me - the story. The game allows you to choose starting lifepatch/point from one of the three classes. This is great and I believe it increases re-playability. I've started as Corp and went into tech-gunslinger skill-trees (there are tons of skills and perks you can unlock)
The story itself however its a mixed bag. It is interesting and gets you involved and immersed, however you can see cuts that CDP did here and there and sometimes you question yourself "how do I get there" or "why that character so suddenly changed its attitude". There is also some imbalance between serious transhuman thoughts and "b-class" action movie. Overall if you dont think about it too much I think you will have plenty of fun. There are lots of dialogue choices which lead to multiple outcomes and multiple endings. I think its decent.

Graphics
As I played on RTX3080 I was able to max out most of the settings and man, does this game look beautiful. The colours are vivid, RTX does its job in terms of lightning effects and sometimes you just stop to admire the view.
There is a downside however - and I hope that CDPR will address this in some future patch. Draw distance. Even though I maxed out all settings and turned off DLSS I still see that small draw distance where objects are not properly light up. You also see "cars" that are supposed to be in the distance as a 2D objects. This breaks the immersion a little bit. Apart from that it looks great and if you have decent PC its a "must play"
Played it in high/ultra details and RTX on ultra on 1440p ultrawide in stable (for the most parts, with some dips to 50's) 60 FPS.

World
Night city is huge and full of life. You see large crowds, people minding their own business. Yes. If you track/follow them they might act weird but during gamplay you rarely do that. The upside of Night City is that it feels like CDPR designed every single place from ground up, its as if they did not use any copy-paste props/places and called it a day. I find myslef driving around the city just to look around and see whats behind the corner. Both the city and outskirts look great. Lots of places are interactive. Great job here

Physics
Physics is "ok". While cars and bikes drive nicely, I feel like the way granades are thrown and some objects behave is weird. Maybe its just me. Also the physics / look of explosions could be better

AI
AI is... average. By now you probably heard about police and missing chases. Honestly I feel that I wouldn't tell the difference if police was removed. AI of enemies also lacks some advanced techniques. Usually enemies just hide behind cover and peek always in the same way exposing them for easy headshots.

Bugs
Now, let's talk about the state of the game. I played it since day one. It has patch 1.05 now and some problems are resolved. I did not encounter any huge or annoying bugs like console peas... (cough) PS4/XBOX ONE users have. Bugs I've seen I'd split into the following three categories:
1. Small glitches
This is something that happens on other games as well. NPCs coliding with objects/one another. This simply looks weird/funny but does not break the game in any way. This is the type of bugs I've seen for the most part
2. Funny bugs
What I mean by this is when cars suddenly act in a weird way (collide) or when their patch is coded incorrectly and they drive inside a wall. This caused some "wtf" moments but again never blocked me from playing further
3. Game-breaking bugs
Last but not least there is the most serious category that stops you from progressing. Yes. It happened also to me. Three times. One in tutorial - I was not able to progress and then in some side missions where NPC would not get to scrypted point and would not trigger next events. Usually I was able to read the game form latest quick save point (it is saved fairly often) and it was good to go (sometimes had to check reddit for some help on how to avoid triggering "bug sequence".


Summary. I think its a good game and with future patches its going to get even better. Given its re-playability with multiple lifepatchs I feel like I might want to play it again with different approach. As I did not experience any serious game breaking bugs I had fun and therefore I'd say for now its a solid 7/10 with a potential for 8 or even 9/10 after patches and some additional features are added. Do not try to run it on a weak PC however as it might ruin your experience. Please keep in mind that this is just my opinion. I am no CDPR fanboy - it was my first game from this studio. I think that because of low expectations I had I was able to enjoy this game more than one that was waiting for it for last 6-7 years (I'd be pissed if HL3 would not deliver so I know what some of you might feel)

Unfortunately B3 is a disapointment. This comes from a person that maxed out (all achievements) B1 and had multiple playthroughts of B2 on PC and PS Vita.

Gunfight is fine - as it always was, tons of guns and tons of places to see but... the story and characters - something that was strenght of B1 and B2 lack character. Jokes are not funny and most missions are boring. Maybe I grew older, I dont know. I find it hard to progress in this game as the story is not even that interesting.

I also bough the Super Deluxe Edition thinking that I will get all DLCs only to find out that now I have to buy new Season Pass - I will skip

If you have a VR headset and HOTAS its an absolute 10/10 (I am playing it on Oculus Rift S with Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas One). It feels soo real. Story is interesting (downside is that yet again you have to play as rebel :/ however there are some empire missions). I only hope that multiplayer stays alive for a little while as it is lots of fun (especialy with friends)

This short reviev comes from a fan of the series so please keep that in mind.

Valve Has done it again. Its been certainly worth the weight. After 13 long years we finally have a new, full instalment in HL series.

Played on Oculus Rift S. No spoilers below

VR
Some people argue that game is not accessible for players without VR headsets but well... Headsets are getting cheaper and you reall dont need a top tier one to have fun with this game. At the same time Alyx in VR is soo immersive. Seeing real size Combine soldier makes you respect them. Dont even get me started on headcrabs. What used to be annoying enemy in here it tends to get scarry. Seeing a turkey sized facehugger jumping at you makes you frightened. All additional VR mechanics like puzzles, reloading increases immpersion and tension. At that point I want HL3 to be VR title again.

Graphics
Damn, that lightning on source 2 :o it makes some places look soo realistic. It is by far the best looking VR title on the market. What's more, gameplay from flat screen is not even close to what you see im the game

Level design
Interesting however you can easily identify areas where you will face Combine due to the layout of the objects. There are some outstanding looking locations and views where you just pause, stand and look at the environment.

Sound
I find sounds in the game to be very immersive, well player and executed. The only small downside is music part during skirmishes

Story
Unfortunately this is something that I have to critisize. While story is ok, and interesting it creates some big plot holes in overall HL story. It feels a bit rushed. Some parts of it are hovewer very satisfying

Overall this is a must have for aby HL series fan of anyone that Has VR headset. The game is solid and hopefully we will receive more of these soon

Good arena shooter with potential. Sadly abandoned by Bethesda (even though it still receives some support from dev team). Brings back memories of many Q3:A lan parties.
Champion system may feel (and sometimes is) a bit unbalanced but gives also some fresh air to genre. Its still good old quake that requires good movement, arena knowledge and resource control.
Downside is that number of players is decreasing. Bethesda is the one to blame for lack of promotion.

Anyways. For me its a 7/10 (with potential for better score)

Very solid shooter. First 30-40 minutes can be a bit boring but after a while game gets into speed. Its definitely a bit different than DOOM 2016 in terms of combat - more movement is required and cooldown observation (which is a downgrade tbh). However, the game gives lots of joy. Love it! 8.5/10

Edit: I must add something to this review. Even though I liked the game (loved it), for some reason it always feels like its a bit behind DOOM 2016. I dont know if thats graphical design, combat or what. For that I had to give it slighly lower score. I hope that DLCs will deliver

6/10 - played only 5 hours but I also have some playtime on X360. Not the best installment in the series. After amazing Revenge and great Dominator, Paradise seems to be a bit over the top. Open world in my opinion is not the best idea for this kind of game. I prefer to jump in - jump out. Also not being able to race on split screen with my friends kind-of sucks. From the positive side I like variety of cars. I find bikes unnecesary.
