This and Monopoly destroys families.

Good solo or team based game which has tons of potential - love the biome, crafting and building aspects of the game. Can get quite laggy from time to time (even on dedicated servers), hopefully the game will have further optimisation down the line!

Haven't had this game very long, but have thoroughly enjoyed playing over the past couple of weeks since the winter sale. Definitely one to work up a small sweat with when you can't leave the house for exercise! Recommend to look at mods when getting set up and doing a little bit of research :)

Made enough food for 5 families > 1 family took all the food > 4 families died that winter

Survival of the fittest and smartest.

Such a beautifully crafted little game.

It took me about an hour to complete and a little longer with the DLC.

Storyline is fantastic and the graphics are just as amazing.

Can't recommend it enough.

Hopefully another little side plot will be released as a DLC so I can completely play through it all again!

I used to spend hours upon hours on rollercoaster tycoon games, and this feels like the ascension of that franchise; with better graphics, content and creativity.

I've spent very little time on this game so far, but can see myself losing a lot of time playing it.

Right now; more content could be added, although that is kind of subsidised by the creative elements with coasters etc...

All in all, highly recommend and i'm going to go lose the next few weeks of my life playing this xD

Played an individual campaign and came to the following conclusions:

- Gameplay is obviously similar to Civilization V
- Graphics have been altered with slight adjustments to mechanics.
- Districts have been introduced which is a new mechanic allowing combination of constructions into one tile instead of city based like that of V.
- Amenities and Housing are essential; the need to build is a consistent factor throughout the game, more so than fortifying through armies.
- HUD has become more complex, but after reading through some articles about the game became very clear how to operate the new mechanics established in the HUD.

All in all, the game has become slightly more complex with the ideal to allow the player to become more engulfed in the actual run of a city. Combat hasn't been altered, but the negotiation tabs have... Less options yet more information.

If you're a fan of the series; i'd recommend as like Civ V, I'm sure i'll find myself losing many a hour playing this. If you're relatively new to the series (Only having V for a short period of time), i'd recommend putting many more hours into V, and eventually upgrading when the game has some form of discount against it.

Basically an upgrade of Reign of Kings, with a lot more crafting and content within gameplay.

Highly recommend, although there are some VOIP and Lag issues which are easily overcome with minor fixes.
