After almost 19 hours of gameplay and one stream here is my review.
Very important to say is that Dreamvibe is an "Easy to play - Hard to Master" game.
So please don't get confused by the other reviews.
Mastering the Saber takes time and sweat.

Tip: Start with the No Energy Mode (the thunder symbol) and the 1st or 2nd difficulty.

Gameplay

Dreamvibe is a rhythm game and has a lot of similarities with Beatsaber except that you don't need a VR headset and control the Saber with the mouse.
As already mentioned the Saber is hard to learn, because you have to learn the behavior first.
For me as an old Guitar/Clone Hero veteran this was a high learning curve as I have never played Beatsaber. But the more I played the better the hits.
Once you get the rhythm it is super fun to master your own song.
Currently there are 2 Sabers. The first Saber is like a Beatsaber and has its own movement.
The second one is like a small dot and it behaves like the knife from Fruit Ninja.

Music types
Here is a small list of music types I tested and how the map creation affects them.
+ Metal/Rock - Not all notes/beats are perfect 7/10
+ EBM - notes/beats are relatively accurate 9/10
+ Vocaloid - notes/beats are relatively accurate 9/10
+ J-Pop - notes/beats are almost exactly 8/10
+ Nightcore - notes/beats are relatively accurate 9/10
+ Wave - notes/beats are perfect 10/10
+ Industrial - notes/beats are perfect 10/10
+ Hardbass - notes/beats are relatively accurate 9/10


It looks like guitar beats are not yet recognized correctly. Drums on the other hand are recognized well

Early Access

For an Early Access game Dreamvibe already has a lot to offer.
Like uploading your own songs in MP3 or MP4 format.
What makes this upload feature special is that the game creates a map for you and you can start immediately.
What makes it even better is that you can customize the maps and improve the beats/notes in case of need.
There are 3 difficulty levels offered here as well as speeds.
These can be very challenging and increase the desire for more.

Future

What I wish for the future for this game would be:
- Leaderboards
- Challenge Modes
- multiplayer
- Steam Workshop for more effects and maps
- Spotify Mod
- Main menu customization (change colors etc)
- Better optimization for streaming
(720p30 is feasible but disturbing at high BPM)
- Optimization of automatic map creation //Workaround -> Editor
(Some notes/beats do not match)

As I heard it is a small developer team and for that the game is what is a super game. I hope the game gets a lot of updates!
Dreamvibe has a lot of potential! Please do not waste it!
