I don't like the combat system.

Spyware? Yikes. Your best bet to play this game is to find a version on the seven seas that doesn't have the spyware connected to it I imagine. Best of luck.

The game is janky like the previous stalker games, but that's ok because holy cow this is so much fun despite that! Maybe play with Ukrainian voices enabled instead of English (I only chose it because I like Skif's VA)

I like fishing in games. This game lets me fish and wear funny little baseball caps that have something about fish on them. 10/10.

Fun, surprisingly well optimized, didn't even need to mess with my settings on boot to play the game! Fun gameplay so far, just wanted to throw a positive review out there since people are review bombing because of epic games.

Sail the high seas for this game. Original creators got kicked out via a scam by the new owners of ZA/UM.

Do NOT play this game until the Bot Crisis is ACTUALLY OVER. Go sign the petition, spread the message respectfully. Do not be soft. Valve, we want out game back, and we refuse to spend another dime on your game until you do.

Sony is forcing people to link their steam account to PSN if you want to play Sony games. Kind of lame considering Sony has been getting hacked since I was an infant. Don't buy it until Sony changes their mind. Also, boycott Sony products while you're at it.

EDIT: Spelling fixes. Also, even after they went back on their word for forcing PSN accounts to be made, they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. I will not change my review until everyone can buy the game regardless of whether you are able to make a PSN account or not. Not only was Sony originally a Japanese company, but they made the Japanese be unable to play this game. Kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up imo. I will proceed to boycott Sony products, and will likely uninstall Helldivers 2.

EDIT 2: As of 6/14/25 (the day I learned about the recent changes on region locking), I will be changing this to a positive review. Here's why I think this game has improved severely since my original posting of this review:
It's gained a lot of replayability with the addition of the Illuminate, city maps, and plenty of new weapons and warbonds. On top of that, weapon customization and the upcoming armor customization has been a joy to tinker with (allowing me to use guns I otherwise wouldnt use due to aesthetic differences to my current kit). My only complaint would be either the cost of warbonds OR the amount of super credits you find on the map while playing. I don't grind as much as my friends do because I have other games I want to play as well, but from what I hear it's just a me problem, so I'll let it be a minor complaint. Otherwise, this game has improved greatly and has been a lot of fun to start playing again as of lately.

I was worried at first that I wouldn't like this game, but it turned out waaaay better than I originally thought. Turn based overworld interaction, great. Real time strategy in actual combat was what I was worried about, but as it would turn out it is my second real time strategy game that I like because of the overworld turn based gameplay. I can take my time and plan where I want to go, what I want to build next without the AI just completely kicking my ♥♥♥♥ in. Love it, didn't even realize I played for over two hours straight when I got it because I was so enthralled by how fun the gameplay is. One last thing, I like how you can control multiple heroes so your "action economy" goes up, but before I could get too many heroes one of my cats jumped on my pc tower and turned it off. I did get a save in like an hour before that I think, but I dont mind because I realize I can do things better. Though, I wouldn't be surprised if there was auto-saving, I haven't checked yet because I thought I'd write this before I forgot. Fun game.

This game can be very addicting, I see myself going back every year to play it, not because its re-playable, but because I just find it fun to go back and play as a bad-ass ninja. The controls may not be perfect, but the game does tell you the lines shown for guns and for your jumps aren't perfect! I may often find myself trying to jump over a platform only to latch onto the side of the ledge, at which point I'll have to improvise because I'm in the middle of combat escaping gunfire. This game isn't perfect by any means, but its a ton of fun when the upgrades are all snagged and you fly around teleporting to people, throwing stunning shuriken or even deploying a decoy of yourself to confuse your enemy. The levels are challenging, but not enough to be unbeatable. However, the real cake is in New Game Plus, where you go through all of it again with all the upgrades from before! The enemies are more plentiful and the machine gunners lines of fire move toward you, so it's time to get more creative with your positioning! I %100'd this game due to a love and passion for this game, not out of "Oh I need to do it because this game is a drag". Instead I have a genuine passion for this game, and if and when I decide to make my own youtube content I would definitely play this one to completion there.
