Devs fixed their game, and it only took them one day to roll out the hotfixes.

Stormworks is a vehicle building oriented sandbox game.
With a logic system and an in-game Lua scripting system for both vehicle logic and game addons.

The game is also highly customizable with it's addon system:

Don't like natural disasters?
Turn off the natural disasters addon, and the natural disasters option in the missions addon.

Don't like warfare?
Turn off the weapons AI

Default addons not good enough?
Look up improved versions of the default addons or any other on the workshop.
(Toastery's Improved Conquest Mode is a perfect example of this.)

The game might be a bit intimidating to new players, but rest assured... it is.
But not in a bad way, after the first several hours you'll have your first vehicle.
And it will most likely not be up to your expectations thus tempting you into developing
and honing your vehicle building skills so that the next one will be.
This game might not be easy to learn but it's hard to master (the latter being a good thing).

It has a variety of stuff to do, you can kinda build any land, sea or air vehicle you can think of...
though the physics might be a bit off... or maybe a bunch. As of now there's no actual armour block.
But you can still achieve something similar with spaced armour and banning HE. As for the high drag...
for some reason increasing the weight of a vehicle decreases it's drag.
So there's that if you wanna go supersonic. It might not be 100% realistic (or even 75%), but it's still
somehow a very good simulation game.
