Screw budget LoL and the communities that thrive in it. I'm tired of ego driven horrifying team games WHERE NO ONE PLAYS AS A TEAM.

Review is due to recent update which made entire build newly unstable and unplayable on hardcore. 4/5 recent characters I've played died due to various crashes during boss fights. At this point I'm considering not playing anymore. I feel like the early access experience is literally unplayable due to BASIC PROGRAMMING FAILURES. If you can't version control where new builds make the released work unstable to this point... you are not trying.

First... I love this game and these types of games. That needs to be said because what follows is a game killing methodology that makes them unplayable. Its a combination of three factors that all sum up into the joint idea of of community.

1. The free to play aspect breeds toxicity. From instant locking one tricks, to people who que up just to pad their numbers by blind firing into a tank who never dies. It all leads to a worse experience.

2. Forced mediocrity through bad matchmaking and then even worse QP bot matches to stroke/repair egos. This leads to bad learning for teammates, or worse for truly horrible people to get rewarded every third game for tilting their teams.

3. Non-consistent role ques. I'm falling into a preferred pattern in my game play, so why am I constantly being punished by getting dropped into matches where people rage lock me out of what I play best?

This would be an easy win, if it wasn't designed to burn bright, fast, and churn through players in a hope of a quick cash grab off the backs of loved heroes in the Marvel IP. Do the world a favor and avoid until these issues are fixed... cause our heroes deserve a better thought out product.

*Edit* So I kept playing... which was a mistake. No matter how much you love something if it is mismanaged, under kept, and just blantently built to be a cash grab it will always disappoint. This game is a nightmare due to game play issues and the community that hangs on to the abusive relationship it forces. Uninstalled and never looking back.

I came, I saw, and I murdered every living soul I could get my Dark Urge's blood stained hands on. 5 stars would be a tragedy if it weren't the highest one can rate a game in most systems. Buy this now, go be the hero or demon that you've always dreamed of! O and protect that red cinnamon roll, she deserves the world, the nine hells, and all that the fugue plane can give and much more.

I wanted to play this again, but in my attempt to recover my old account I got served the worst mini game in the history of gaming. Matching pictures of numbers with 5 dice in over 10 different images. Honestly I could have finished it, but I honestly felt degraded to keep having to do it. There appears to be an issue when trying to log in from the steam browser. I clicked over to a google chrome and immediately was able to log in. Being bot failed however feels like a big piss off wanker moment to me, so that's what I'm doing. Curiosity over all the things that have changed since OW1 isn't worth being treated like a dirty Omnic traitor (not that I have any issues with Omnics).

Game is sus with predatory monetization, questionable matchmaking, and even more questionable shuffling. The worst is the in play shenanigans that seem to alter your statistical odds of drawing when you spend money. It feels like it honestly curves you to losses anytime you spend gems/gold. This would be the ultimate predatory gimmick as anytime you have the chance to win back and build up resources in this F2P game, it drains your bank to push you to spend more real money.

TLDR: Programs gimp you in games to ensure you have to spend money to unlock cards.

Game has poorly designed error catching. Appears to be an issue with attempting to log into multiple platforms (Steam and Epic?). Devs are actively patching to make it worse as tested user work-arounds have now disappeared. Requesting refund and will never purchase a game from this studio again. If anyone knows an answer other than "buy it on epic" I'm all ears, because I loved it until I couldn't play it.

Found myself a tiny mess of hunger and thirst. Drank pee water. Ate bugs. Was hunted for hours by a towering death machine known as a wolf spider. 10/10 would die to spider bites again.

Interesting story, bad puns, and able to play it while working. 1/5 Needs more blue pill.

The only game where you can die gasping and wheezing and feel like its still a good day to die!
