Seems like a very fun take on the survival genre - early review so take it with a grain of salt obviously. If you enjoyed Conan and can see yourself liking the Dune lore, this seems like a game for you.

Picked it up for 3 bucks and can honestly say it'd be one of the better values for money I've ever received. Highly recommended!

Yeah it's a really solid 3rd person shooting PvE game, but I'd only ever recommend playing this with a group of friends.

It scratches that very specific itch (think Slay the Spire or even Teamfight Tactics) but compared to the latter it's very relaxed. I particularly enjoy the variation on offer and all the options while at first overwhelming are really what makes the game shine when you figure it out. Easily recommend this for the price of admission - already got my moneys worth out of it!

After Immortal Empires came out I'm getting my moneys worth by a large margin - could recommend it.

You too could lose all love you previously had for your friends & significant others, accompanied by music crafted to make you believe the game isn't truly sadistic. Highly recommended.

Yeah this is already pretty compelling - after finishing the human / fae campaign I can tell this has a lot of love poured into it and if you have any affinity for games in this niche genre, pull the trigger, this is a real good take on it.

The game looks and plays really well and I feel like the campaign (albeit short) was really nicely done. Don't expect a Tolkien storyline, but it kept me entertained.

If you love Slay the Spire - just get this game. Really great rogue-like deck builder, can't ask for more.

Easily one of the best games I've played in a long time - story is beyond excellent and a real throwback to the classic point & click adventures but now with even greater writing & stylish graphics. Honestly - just buy this if you are even remotely interested due to the premise or enjoy this type of game.

The game does appear to be made with a lot of love, and I do enjoy the graphics quite a bit. There's a lot to be said for this game really, which makes it a bit of a shame that I can't recommend it. It feels like there are a couple points where the game really let me down.

* The game has you build buildings, which you pick from a list. DLC content is immediately visible, and a lot of the more odd buildings are locked behind it. What's worse is that I got a quest for building one of these DLC buildings, while not owning the DLC. That's just not done, if you ask me.

* At the start of your town you're just waiting for money to come in, while later on, there's quite literally nothing to spend your vast amount of gold on. Feels like that could use some addressing. Overall the economy just feels a bit wonky.

* Raids feel wonky. Sometimes your soldiers will just decide to not go where they are supposed to, which leaves your buildings looted. While on the topic of raids - combat also feels fairly bad, it's just pure RNG.

With that said, I didn't hate my time with the game, I can just not recommend buying this at full price, and because of the issues will not be purchasing the DLC.
