That said, it *is* my role to keep this a decent place to be. So I'm going to do that :D
@TBandee, as far as I know they are working on it! Sadly being just a volunteer/mod I dont have access to all those info bits. I'll post here as I have more information, or just shoot me a dm on the discord and I can try to follow up!
Quite straight forward - I lock the, "LGBT" discussions which are obvious copy/paste trolls from other threads. I lock those, because those threads have one purpose.... to try and create conflict without any sort of feedback or benefit.
The built in spyware ones, aren't always created out of malice and tend to get locked if they deviate from the point of providing information or if they de-evolve into non productive posts.
In order to play the game you need two things, the first is a copy of the game. You can use the steam version, or the disc version of the game. If you have the disc version, but don't have a cdrom (most newer/recently built machines anway) you could also use an iso version of the game. (Check https://www.reddit.com/r/swg/ for more info those! )
Next, you'll want to get the launcher and create an account for the game over at https://swgsremu.com/ . Just download that, and follow the instructions and it'll automatically fill in the missing files you need to play the game!
Also another little bonus I recommend is this file! https://modthegalaxy.com/index.php?resources/swg-galaxy-extender.8/ This will let you tweak your configuration by hand so that you can make your game look quite a bit nicer (at the expense of FPS... but it's still awesome xD )
