Highly entertaining game, its silly, out of pocket humor, and makes me laugh.
CONS:
graphics-but its surposed to be a love letter to our beloved retro games hence retro graphics
messing with the graphics settings crashed my computer
a bit grindy- but some folks like that
some of the drop rates are abysmal
adult humor
got bit by a horse
tutorial island and starting town is laggy AF in the more active hours

PROS:
adult humor
funny humor
a wide variety of skills to learn
no classes you can be anything you want
i can pet all the horsies.
the lore is a breath of fresh air it is entertaining and diffrent.
they have ALOT of graphics options.
community is fun.

UPDATE: having got vip ive noticed the cosmetic pets are not account wide they are one character only. witch is somewhat Disapointing and diferent than im used too. but the other perks are nice. they are also avoiding a P2W structure wile still monetizing in a way that supports the game. i am very much addicted to this game.

Ark WAS fun. it was tons of fun. i played on an official pve server joined a tribe met lots of nice people. built a nice base. finally got a boat. then what happens? i meet some as-... buttface jerk whos name will not be mentioned cause that would be rude *coughtommyteeheecough* who built a wall around my boat after i parked it a bit to close to his base. i just needed to log so i could go to church..... no time to get back to base. he wouldent let me out no matter what i did said horrid things about me made false acusations. i had a big anxiety attack. in retrospect it feels silly i got so worked up over this but it happened. and now even the thought of playing again sends my heart beating through my chest.
im ashamed to admit i told half the server to die in fire when i left.... and called tommy and a few others monsters....

and now i hear bad things about the devs ruining the game? nerfed tamed dinos. they did NOT need tweaking. this gigantasauris thing? stupid and alpha tribes are abusing it. all its done is create TRIBES FULL OF BULLYS! and the devs have stopped talking to the community. they were so nice in the beginning. wtf happened?! what are you people doing?! get your %$@*& act togeather!
ARK is surposed to be this epic awesome dino taming survival game! now its crap. clean up wild card. (and stop deleting the threads of pple calling you out. it looks bad make you seem like grade a unethical douche bags imean srsly wtf?)

pros- Creative background story
love the steam punk theme
the graphics are nice and cutesy if you like that kinda thing.
good music and sound effects.
steam and health system work nicely so does the inventory system
has quests!
points (crowns) and membership are cheap! in a good way! is inexpensive a better word...?
you can also earn crowns by doing quests or looting them...?
cons-
lack of starter private world is annoying.
leveling is a bit slow unless you do quests (or constantly mine new things)
points may not be that expensive but when you compare the points you get per pack to the point prices in the store... its a bit pricey? imean sure you can earn points in game but pricing one clothing article the same as a mini private world is silly.
