In the thick of battle when all seems bleak and the end seems all but nigh, you want someone couragous, strong and determined right there with you.

Cable is absolutely none of these.

When it comes down to it, either shouting abuse at useless teammates (Who have inevitably wandered off to stare at a wall texture halfway across the map, leaving him to fend off the murderous and vindictive OpFor all by himself), or selflessly ensuring the enemy waste their bullets on an easy-to-kill target armed with nothing more than a pop gun, a rabbit-in-the-headlights expression and a pair of soiled underpants, Cable is THE player you've always wanted... on the other team.

Bringing the angst, rage and bitter sarcasm to whatever group he's currently managed to weasel himself into, Cable is first and foremost a co-op style player. That is, assuming the other players are in fact co-operating, and not running off to leave him by himself again...
