Your first hour might be spent wandering around getting lost and gathering up random quests, but after you find your footing and get a few party members, combat is more possible. I like the art direction in this game, it reminds me more of the style that the matrix initially struck for cyberpunk given a space twist. As much as I dislike the term cyberpunk ever since movies like Akira turned it into neon vomit about pissing on what you want and fisting the man, this seems more like a return to roots.

The gameplay can be likened to Fallout 1 and the start can be grueling. I still don't feel like I'm doing much besides dumping stats into skills. The tag system acts like a jumpstart in a combat/skill system that's already EXP starved. Combat in the beginning of the game requires you tag your desired weapon skill and get the associated feat, or else your accuracy and damage are quite terrible.

Combat skills have specific play styles, such as an SMG will be outranged by a rifle on most days, but an SMG can gamble on bursting down enemies even with 5% accuracy. Rifles by comparison can be used as a sniper rifle or short bursts that give high risk and reward. Overall, you might want to spoil yourself and look up someone's starter build if you want to enjoy the beginning of the game more instead of being confused about why you're dying to frogs.
