I played this game for less than an hour, I have no idea what the hell is going on, but i love this game so far. I just also feel I'll get vertigo if I play longer than 2 hours at a time

One of the most excellent games I have played in my life.
The graphics and music give a retro feel, the game is challenging but fair, and rewards you for said challenge (ex. loot bags for bosses on Expert.) There are even 4 game modes, that increase or decrease the difficulty.
The bosses and enemies are great, too. There are also unique NPCs, with some dialogue, and, as of the update, preferences on who they live next to, and where they live.
The gameplay is smoother than concrete, and the controls aren't hard to memorize at all.
The game is both fun in singleplayer and multiplayer, and you can play LAN, online with friends, or on servers.
I haven't made my review until now (I have been playing since 1.3) but with 1.4, the game has even more to offer.
I would easily recommend this game to anyone who loves adventure games, and I think the game deserves all the credit it gets.
