The game isn't bad but compared to something like Crime Scene Cleaner or Viscera Cleanup Detail, it's not all that great, the cleaning is super simple and isn't anywhere near as satisfying, there are a lot of levels but they go by very quickly and the upgrades feel really lackluster, nothing to really sink your teeth in too

The game is good, it's just super sparse on content right now (2/20/2026), only reason it took me 3 hours was because I left the game running while doing other things, would've been about 2 hours if I had played non-stop

The only real problem I have with the game is 2 specific weapon types, the combat is fun, gun fights feel like a real panic but the close range (Melee and shotguns) aren't worth using unless you just happen to have a melee out when another melee enemy is close, (you just die if you try to melee and gun enemy unless you sit around a corner and wait), or if a shotgun you picked up is all you have, but you get so much ammo from the start and there are plenty of mid/long range weapons that enemies drop you'd never want a shotgun, an SMG outclasses shotguns in pretty much all ways, Accuracy, range, ammo and reliability to kill.

Update 4/17/2026: not much has changed from my original review, the Penitentiary level is fun but the survival mode honestly sucks, crazy sightlines that the AI can hose you down from with a MAC-10, it does sh*t for damage but that doesn't matter when there are 6 people shooting you from all directions, your also forced to use the MAC-10 so your damage sucks as well, and say goodbye to your progress because no armor, specials or masks either, the level just throws away the games entire other mechanics in favor of forcing you to use only kicking and the 2nd worst SMG in the game (still better than shotguns)

TLDR: If you only like KF2 and only want KF2, then you probably won't like this because it's not KF2, it's more of a modern shooter, for better and for worse

Personally, I like a lot of the new stuff about this game, Less guns but more customization than just skins, perks are more in-depth than the 5 two-choice upgrades of the previous game and also each have a unique ultimate-like ability and the movement is that of a modern shooter (Sliding, clambering, dodging and snappy-wobbly animations)

However there are a few gripes I have, the games overall aesthetic is just boring, the Zeds look great but everything else is meh, the new characters scream DEI and are either really boring or really annoying, the cosmetics are bland, the weapons are very clearly trying to get around licensing the likeness of real weapons with their odd and ugly futuristic look while still clearly based off real guns, the metal soundtrack is pretty boring compared to KF2 and there are no vocal tracks either, and the maps feel uninspired and kinda blend together in my memory

But by far, the worst offender of this game is its performance, with Quality DLSS, Frame gen and the settings on mostly medium on my 4060ti, I struggle to keep a consistent 90FPS, playing on all high settings is unplayable with massive FPS swings and 2 second long freezes every couple of minutes, the performance alone makes me not want to recommend this game but if you can run it, the game IS fun.

Beat the game without dying and I didn't really start sweating until the last level, so not very hard compared to other Roguelites but I like that it's not insanely hard, it's still fun and a little challenging without being stressful at all times

The gameplay is fun but a little lacking in mechanical variety and balance, most buffs were small passives or tradeoffs that usually weren't worth taking, The weapons, especially the melees, looked and even sounded pretty cool from their descriptions but just ended up feeling a little samey, they are usually satisfying to use though with great animations, and great music as well, just wish it didn't end as soon as you weren't in combat even though there are enemies in the room with you that just don't see you yet

The story was pretty interesting, it didn't have me hooked or anything but I did want to see what would happen next, I really loved the art style, and enemy and character design though, (10/10 would let Sin Seeker and her cake step on me again)

$25 feels a little steep for the game right now but during a sale or after some updates, definitely worth picking up

Really good game, Can't really say much without spoiling but just try the demo, if you're interested after that, definitely pick up the game, you won't be disappointed.

The game is pretty straight forward, break stuff and take stuff to sell, its fun but repetitive like most of these simulators games, if like similar games you'll probably enjoy this one but I just can't recommend this game in its current state

The game is super unbalanced, taking items back to your warehouse is almost entirely not worth the effort, it takes so long to take apart some furniture and they usually end up selling for very little, there are different tiers of buyers and most of the time it will be a Poor Client wanting to buy that $300 kitchen sink counter for $40, I got maybe 2 or 3 dozen decent orders worth more $200 and only 1 order worth $1k in my entire time playing, but most of the time either didn't have all the items to fulfill the order or it was worth so little that I didn't bother since it costs $5 minimum to ship items, taking back a van full of trash from the demolition was way better money than doing orders (Completely random amounts, usually low VS $500 per van load) or only taking the most expensive items, easy to grab items and speedrunning destroying the house, or not even taking demolition jobs and doing the ones the have to take a few items, break a few walls and leave for similar amounts of money

Speaking of the van, good luck getting enough money to get anything past the Large Van (3rd largest) unless you know ahead of time to not waste money upgrading your tools, only 3 out of the 5 tools are worth upgrading anyways IF you plan on taking deconstructable stuff back with you, both screwdrivers and the wedge, the crowbar is only for taking out windows and the saw is literally useless unless you want to take every single wooden board from a wall, which is a massive waste of time

Upgrading the warehouse is also useless once you know furniture isn't worth taking because all it does is give you more storage space for it

If you just want a simple "Break Stuff" game then this is great for that, if you wanted to actually do an in-depth job and manage a company, this isn't all that great

Kinda hard to judge on such a short demo but it wasn't bad, I wish the steam cleaning and vacuuming let you cleaned the mess yourself like with the sponge instead of just holding left click and the entire mess disappearing no matter where you are aiming

I really liked the Demo for this game, It was fun, relaxing, and scratched that itch for more Viscera Cleanup Detail, I even backed the game on Kickstarter, and the game I liked so much is still there but one specific change they made has pretty much ruined this game for me, there are challenges to each level now, which sounds good on paper but they aren't very fun challenges and force you to play in restrictive ways, some of which force you to NOT interact with some game mechanics, they make a game that was once relaxing, now stressful and frustrating, because if you mess up, have fun restarting the entire level and losing between 15 minutes to an hour depending on how big or complicated the level is, and they aren't completely optional either, if you want to get more cosmetics and even later levels, you HAVE to complete them.

I'd suggest making them collectibles that you'd only find if you were going for 100% or even put them behind little puzzles or traps, or if you want to keep the challenges in, make them fun goals, like instead of "Clean this area without disabling the trap" like with the Laser Eye in the Library, make it more like the Tree challenge in the Entrance, use the traps to dispose of meat but without the No Death requirement, so you still have to not die and make more of a mess for yourself while interacting with the level, something that would make you interact with the unique level mechanics without hard punishing you for making 1 mistake.
