Another game from Ubisoft, which was released two years ago, has finally arrived on Steam to the wider community, but this game, although it is called "Rainbow Six", is not a direct sequel to the well-known PvP high-tactical shooter, but it is a PvE game that aims to connect you and face the threat of the world. I just want to point out that I already own the game on Ubisoft Connect for over a year, but with such a big discount, I bought it again anyway, because why not?!

Does this game even have a story?!

Although it is poorly explained and the game also shows it quite indirectly, yes this game has a story, but it is so insignificant that you don't even think that you are fulfilling a story line at all. However, right at the start of the game, you will be greeted by a beautiful scene that takes place in New York, and we see how beautiful New York finds itself the victim of an attack by unknown "aliens" called Archaeans, and their intentions are actually not even known, since these enemies have no way to communicate. they can only communicate with each other with some hoarse sounds. However, you as a REACT agent are sent on missions to clarify the existence of this enemy and mainly to study how to defeat them, however, you have fragments of the story in the game as "clues" that you can find variously around the maps and are highlighted by a magnifying glass and Thermite or Ashe who send you on these missions they'll tell you something about it, but you probably won't get more of the game's story.

Repetitive but at the same time fun gameplay

This game has a lot of tactical gameplay, if you want to play alone you really have to think a lot about what you are doing, what you will do, how you will do it, what equipment you will use for certain missions and most importantly learn what each enemy does, if you are a player who goes YOLO and doesn't think I CANNOT recommend this game to you when playing it, because you really need to think, but once you master the elements of the game, it will be easy for you and you won't even think about what you are doing, you will do it automatically. Easy to Learn, Hard to Master.
Yes, I have to say that the gameplay of this game is really incredibly repetitive, but on the other hand, it has the gameplay we know from Rainbow Six Siege, which on the other hand is a nice thing. So what is actually the content of this game? As I mentioned you have missions here and also 4 locations and they are New York, San Francisco, Alaska and Truth or Consequences which is ... something like Texas I guess? Never mind. Each of these locations has 3 missions that your superiors send you to, however, in these missions you have 3 tasks that change, because the game is not always about the same thing, so your tasks have to change, you have tasks like: Biopsy, Decontamination, Gateway, Hunt, Missing in Action, Nest tracking, Rescue, Sabotage, Serial Scan, Shutdown, Specimen, Triangulation. Each of these missions has its own purpose, but I won't list it here, I just want to say that the Missing in Action mission is only available when you die on the map, this mission means that when you return to the location with another agent, you have to save the agent you died for so you can play as him/her again. As for the agents, here you have well-known agents from Six Siege such as Smoke, Doc, Finka, Ela, Lion, Hibana, Nomad, Alibi, etc... In the missions on which you are not only tasked with finishing them off, but you can also (it is not mandatory) to collect studies for which the game will give you experience for your division and something for the Agent level. However, some studies have really horrible conditions, so it is possible that you will have to do them in many attempts or because of them you will have to set the Difficulty to the hardest ... which is really a very uncomfortable condition. After completing the missions, you can still join the Events, which are updated every week, or play around and upgrade all the agents to the highest level like me. Of course, it will take a lot of time, but then again, what do you want to do? To sum it up, if you don't like Grind or you don't enjoy doing missions over and over again, this game will take you about 4-6 hours of gameplay. But again, with a discount of €10, it is quite an acceptable price.

How is the game Optimized?

This is a good question that I asked myself a year ago, but the answer for me was a nice Optimization. I play the game on Ultra details up to FullHD resolution at 100FPS and above, which is really top-notch optimization, although there are some locations where the FPS can drop, but it's nothing drastic.

So is this game worth it?

As I already mentioned ... it depends more on whether you enjoy the gameplay, I was personally fascinated by this game and really even after all this time (What Ubisoft Connect showed me over 40 hours) and I still enjoy the game a lot, but you also have to admit that this gameplay is no surprise, since this is Ubisoft, I have no idea if they intend to add any more Content, or if they are going to operate in any way with this game apart from adding events. I probably wouldn't be able to recommend this game at full price, because for €40 the game doesn't meet the requirements of players, but if it's specifically at this time for €10, I'd buy it, because it's a pretty reasonable price, so if you don't mind Grind and you have love Rainbow Six so I think you won't go wrong if you give this game a chance.

I honestly don't know how I should review this game, but I'll try anyway, because I got this part for FREE thanks to playing the previous Bright Memory in Early Access, so I got this part completely free.

So we play as the main character named Shelia, she is tasked with what only the Avengers could do and that is to save the world from some organization and especially from a huge black hole that just appeared and wants to swallow the whole planet... it seems to me like a very difficult task for someone who is just an ordinary person with only an arsenal of weapons, but... it's never what it seems...
But as for the game itself, I don't have much to say, the game has a great and innovative gameplay in itself, the developers were inspired by the classic Japanese series Devil May Cry and adds to the game elements such as style and especially a frantic fighting style that you can combine at will, since you have a large arsenal and an even greater range of options, in addition to the classic enemies who are people, you also have mythical mythological Japanese enemies against you, who apparently got married there ... thanks to the black hole ... well, we won't look for logic it's a game after all. The only thing that is a bit of a shame is that the game has a really short gameplay and you can really finish this part in 2 hours of pure play, maybe even earlier if you have really top reflexes. In general the game is kind of like DOOM with a female character, you just go and kill until you see the end credits... the end.
I really enjoyed the game overall and since it really doesn't cost much I can warmly recommend it, unfortunately there is a minus here and that is that the game has really useless DLC which are actually just cosmetic elements, which is not very good, because it will cost you €15.50 or £13.25 and that's quite enough for a game that has 2 hours of gameplay. However, it's really a minor "reaction" that only gives you the goal of killing, I'd honestly be surprised if someone recorded more than 30 hours on this game. That's it from my point of view, thanks for reading the review.

Forspoken is a new and really mysterious game when you look at it in terms of the usual AAA games that come out every year. A lot of people condemn this game or love it endlessly, but what is this game really like? How is it played? And how is it possible that this game was almost awarded the worst game of 2023? These are all questions that can only be answered the moment you play or finish the game.

Story

Forspoken offers a story that at first glance resembles a typical story that happens to some people in ordinary life. Our heroine Frey experienced one of these herself. You are an orphan who was raised on the streets and has to deal with really tough challenges all the time and especially every day. To be honest, the beginning of the game, where the story puts you on trial in connection with something Frey did, doesn't really evoke the best emotions in you at the start, but it puts you into the story so that you can feel how Frey actually lives. Although she doesn't have parents, she can deal with problems quite well and ... or rather, she runs away from them quite nicely ... literally, her Parkour style reminds the main character from Dying Light and adds an interesting feature to our character. However, after Frey runs away from her problems, the so-called Avalanche effect begins to intensify even more. Homeless, catless, hopeless... just in time for Christmas and her... birthday. Literally, this would be the worst day of anyone's life, but Frey doesn't give up and thanks to a firefly, she finds an interesting bracelet... or whatever the hell it is... Which takes her to a literal Fantasy world, stuck somewhere in the Middle Ages... nada of that world is really atmospheric and can awaken a huge portion of curiosity and excitement in you. However, there is one problem... the dragon.. yes the dragon. Thanks to the bracelet, Frey gains some abilities, but otherwise she doesn't improve much against the dragon... We move on to where Frey finds herself in front of the gates of some huge mansion and goes to court again... Poor thing. This is just an outline of what awaits you in the game, in my opinion this game has a really well written story that can evoke a really special feeling in you and especially some emotions. It can practically draw you into the story within the first twenty minutes. However, the avalanche effect can also quite convince you whether you will like the game or not.

Gameplay.

As I mentioned the bracelet that Frey finds will definitely give her powers. She can control the elements. She can throw rocks, form plant traps, and use the ground as her battlefield and sandbox. You can either use such "SMG" that at the end of the volley will make a discharge that will give huge damage or choose a "typical" style of "shooting" in combination with parkour. Honestly, I've never seen a game that combines parkour, running, and element control as well as this game. Although your abilities depend on what Frey can actually do, you will probably be surprised by the fact that our heroine can do quite a lot of moves and make a nice mess when you are fighting against a group of enemies or against one huge enemy. The gameplay as a whole revolves mainly around combat, which is practically always active whenever you move around the world. Although this game is Open Word, some activities can really knock you out of that feeling, like the Trial, which locks you in some big building where you have to fight your way to get rare items. Your gameplay practically moves like this
Talking > Traveling > Parkour > Fighting > Parkour Fighting > Collecting Items > Doing Trials > Collecting Skill Points. It seems like little, but don't worry! That's a lot, even if we summarize it in such a small column.

Optimization and Visuals

Here a lot of people hit the iceberg as hard as the Titanic did! Game optimization really failed on a lot of Hardware. If you have a GTX or RDNA 1 graphics card don't even bother buying the game. I myself played the game on a GTX 1660 Super, AMD Ryzen 5 2600 and 16GB of RAM and I have to tell you that even on the smallest details, by reducing the resolution and turning on AMD FSR 2.0, I achieved a maximum of 40FPS, which is not very much. Now with the new PC I have permanently over 200FPS which is a really big increase. But I have to say that although in some areas the game looks great and the graphics really stand out, there are areas or times where the textures and area look like if you had the game set to Minimal Textures, let's say Night. At night, when you are walking through the city or in a village, the textures, shadows and lighting are more reminiscent if you reduce the shadows to Minimum. It can give a really negative impression, but if you care so much about how the game looks, you probably won't notice it at all. The truth is that if you want the very best enjoyment from the graphics side of the game, you have the choice to turn on Ray Tracing (My graphics card, which has the RDNA 3 Architecture and supports Ray Tracing, has this option, but I don't use it, because this option seems really unnecessary). Although while we're talking about the minuses, I also have to point out that the facial expressions and their expressions are practically at freezing point. Since the developers did not play around much in this area and it can be seen that they did not pay much attention to it, unfortunately it is a lot to recognize. However, if you have a High End PC or an Edge PC, I think that Optimization will not be a problem for you.

Evaluation

Forspoken is a game that just by its price tag determines that it will be a definitely unforgettable experience, but here is the question whether it will be a good or bad experience. And the answer is... it depends on your personal preference, some may like this style of Open Word RPG games and some may loathe it. It's really up to your preference. For me, even though I don't have a lot of experience with such games, I have to admit that I quite enjoy the game and it's definitely fun to play (I especially enjoy it more when I don't play it at low FPS anymore).
The gameplay of the game is quite innovative, but again, it may seem to someone that it is not exactly their style. This game really has a lot of things in it and it's up to the players to keep them interested. However, I think that I could recommend this game to you, but only buy it at a discount, it's not a good idea to spend €80 on a game that you will find you don't enjoy at the end. So, if you decide to give the game a chance, I can only wish you good luck and have fun!

Resident Evil 4, which was originally released in 2005 and was originally intended only for Japan, with the belief that Western culture would not breathe the horror that is happening in this work, was a great success not only in Japan, but all over the world.

A great story in a new version

I honestly think that I don't need to describe the story, because I think everyone knows it. This Remake tries to keep everything on a 1:1 scale, but for some things, the creators had to change the dialogue or even whole sentences, I can't tell you exactly how many, but I have to admit that 98% of the original dialogues can be found in this remake. Which I have to admit adds quality and above all the fact that it sticks to its original. However, both the location and the Village, Lake, Castle and Island have remained unchanged, but there is also a minor change in some parts, but that is another topic. The story remained the same and still retains its charm after 18 years

Interesting gameplay

Let's face it, nowadays, the original controls wouldn't hold up in games, so the creators made the controls and game mechanics that we know from RE2 and RE3, which means that you have a very well-mastered control along with the improvement of survival horror, which the RE series has been building on since the beginning. However, if we compare the Original and the Remake, almost nothing has changed except for some things, because in the Original you could only craft Healing and various things, on the contrary, in the Remake you can craft practically everything. Charges, Healing, Grenades, which adds more tolerance to the game with how you handle the given resources. So it can put you in a very bad situation for some parts of the game. But let's get down to the most important thing and that is the Merchant, those of you who played the original RE4 will of course remember our favorite Merchant, to whom you can carry some treasures and he will give you disgusting money for it, this time again you put gems in the valuables, but their prices also differ, when you find different gems you can get different prices, which differ from the "rarity" of the gems you put in the treasure. Which, on the other hand, shows that even a trinket has its price. However, the last thing I can say about it is that you are now using Spinels from the Original as a currency for which you can get upgrades, a treasure map, other gems, etc...
However, as I said earlier, some locations also received a small change, which means that you will see a little less progress in some locations, or you will also need other things to access them and go through different paths.

What about Optimization?

As for the technical side of the game itself, I can only say that the game again runs on RE Engine, which is used by all modern Capcom games, so there is no problem with optimization, the game stays at 60FPS and sometimes even jumps above 150FPS, so I'm not behind no major problems with the game.

So, is it worth it or is it better to buy the Original?

If you haven't played the Original RE4 and want to jump into the Remake right away, I can rather recommend that you first go through the Original and then jump into the Remake. So, if you want to revive your memories and stand up for this title, I can only recommend it, and if you are looking for something more, then after finishing the game, you can play the game again and you can get bonuses. (PS.) SHOOT THE WATER ON LAKE.

I'm not a huge fan of Stealth games or games where you have to sneak around, but Dishonored takes you where few games dare.

Cool story, quite strange processing

I don't want to paint the devil on the wall right away, but I have to say that the story of Dishonored 2 has a great connection to the first part, there is no one about it, and it continues according to its concept where Emily became the Queen, but here the opinions differ, if you have played Dishonored, then you know that Emily's the mother was killed and she had the right to the throne and blah blah, Corvo ... blah blah Protector etc.. But then came Delailah who claims the throne as a distant relative who should have been given the throne after the death of the current queen. And here it begins, as you decide ... Play again as Corvo or as Emily. I don't know what the difference is, I just know that if you choose Emily, then Corvo loses his abilities and Emily is now something like Corvo from Wish. However, Emily also meets the Outsider in her dream and also gets these "mysterious" powers. And she's trying to get back to where she started and take over her throne, it kind of reminds me of a verse from a song. "They've come to steal what's mine.

Arcane once again shows that they are the Kings of stealth games

If you're familiar with the studio Arcane, you're no stranger to Dishnored giving you the choice to play a Chaos game where you murder, shoot, and blast enemies. Or you play Steath, where you are not allowed to kill a single enemy and you only have to Stun them or simply avoid them. And that's what makes Dishonored a unique game, you have 2 options, but only at the end do you realize that your playstyle changed the ending of the game. Your playstyle will decide the ending, kind of like in the Metro series where you have the same element, honestly I'm not a Stealth master so I had two best friends F5 and F9 while going through this game. These keys were my true friends throughout the game, and believe me I used them a lot. Although Dishonored may seem like a boring game, or an overly violent game, you have to find your magic in it, and there's nothing better than playing on your own terms.

Do I need an RTX 4090?

I honestly think that even the RTX card wouldn't help you here, one of the facts that this game unfortunately has and Arcane never intends to fix is game optimization. From the beginning of the game, everything seems fine, I myself was pleasantly surprised that the game runs beautifully over 200FPS, but after I got to Streets, I stopped laughing at my FPS indicator, because from 200FPS I got a beautiful 50-70.. .. Which is nothing really great, unfortunately even reducing the Graphics from Ultra to Medium didn't help (or rather it helped, but the extra 5FPS doesn't really help me). This is not to say that the game is unplayable, as even FPS above 60 are really great, but if you have a 144Hz monitor, 100FPS (minimum) is more to your taste.

So how is it?

Although I don't really love Steath games (Am i right Sniper Ghost Warrior ?) I have to say that Dishonored 1 and 2 really gave me a taste of what it's really like to play such a game from the masters of their craft, even if I don't return to these games like the others, I still they have what most games don't, and I always come back to these two games with a smile and joy, even if it's not my style, I enjoy them and can highly recommend them to you, if you can endure the stagnant Optimization, then I think you've won, and if if the game doesn't suit you, there's nothing to worry about, there are other games like Dishonored that can entertain you. So if you've ever been debating whether or not to try this game, I can tell you, go for it!

The Control game from Remedy, the studio that developed Alan Wake, made a game where you can use your psyche as abilities and my question is... Is it Alan Wake in a new look or is it a completely new game?

Control draws you into a world that works like ours, but not in one place, in one building, an incident happened years ago that affected our heroine Jessie Faden and her brother Dylan Faden. Jessie was able to get away and escape the horrible things she saw, however her brother was not so lucky, after more than 10 years you come back to unravel the mystery of this horror and find out what happened to your brother.

Welcome to Control.

Right from the first feeling, when you begin to be overwhelmed by the dark and mysterious environment of this game and this federal office, after a short time Jessie finds the cleaner Athi, who thinks you are his new Assistant (Assistenka my ass). You take the elevator to the director's floor, where you find him dead and you only see his gun, but when Jessie takes the gun, she suddenly finds herself in a different world where there are no rules, she learns how to control her gun. By taking his weapon, she now becomes... The new Director of this institute. It's probably not exactly what Jessie was looking for, but it will come in handy in the end. After some time, he finds out what happened to this place and why it is like a puzzle inside a Rubik's cube. Things are a bit complicated. This institute has been consumed by a force that has taken control of people called The Hiss. This "virus" takes control of her body and mind and they become the cycle of a new ecosystem that runs rampant like Coron... But that doesn't stop Jessie and she only wants to find her brother and escape, but once again things get a little more complicated to she got to him so she has to overcome Tommasi who is kind of a Corrupted person that Hiss has completely mastered and can use telekinesis to kill you without touching you. You will learn how to use telekinesis to control and attract objects, how to create a shield and other fun things. Of course, when you get to your brother (If you don't go crazy by then). You will find that Hiss has mastered him to a new level. He feels like a part of it and wants to convince Jessie that when he left her there, he opened up a new world for her, in which he sees things clearly and cleanly, as if a new perspective on things has opened up for him. Hiss has full control over him and won't let go. But Jessie won't let it and wants to free her brother, there will be many obstacles on the way to freeing him.

Is it all down to Alan?

This title from Remedy offers a lot of options and even more chances for your play style. When you get your weapon, you suddenly find out that it's not just a pistol but also more, you can turn it into a Submachine Gun, a Shotgun, or just a simple fluke that will scratch your enemies. Although I liked this idea, I have to admit that the creators of this game did not lack creativity, but their implementation was very weak, because the other versions of your "gun" are really strange. The submachine gun does almost no damage and the Shotgun is at Extreme close range. On the other hand, the game has a very well resolved scaling system. Your character gains experience points to invest in weapons, abilities, and health. Your abilities come from the shards that fall from enemies, you get health from it and also energy that regenerates automatically. However, you can quickly run out of Energy and have to wait for it to regenerate again, which can be very stressful, because if you use your abilities a lot, it can kill you. However, your weapon can also use your resources, enemies can drop Upgrades that give you bonuses to your weapon, upgrades are random, so something good or something bad can fall to you. As for the environment of the game itself, I have to say two things, I have never seen such a nice environment. And I've never seen such a complex environment either. Although the "map" of the game itself is really nice, on the other hand it is very complicated and you can often get confused, which can hold you back from your Gameplay. And I have to admit that there is nothing worse than a very complex map.
One thing I have to complain about the game is that its difficulty on Default is sometimes very hard, but in the settings you have Sliders with which you can make the game easier (But that wouldn't be fun, would it?)

Do I need RTX for this game?

This game radiates with really beautiful visuals and beautiful textures, but if you really want the game to be as visual as possible, you probably can't avoid the RTX ON option. The game looks really beautiful even without RTX and I also have to say that the Optimization is also mostly flawless, but with RTX the visuals are even nicer, but again it offers weaker Optimization (In some parts). So yes, this game really takes your breath away while giving you the best performance it can give.

Crazy ride for the weekend

This game offers you options that other games just wouldn't pass and gives you a great chance to expand your imagination. If you are looking for a game with a horror theme and action elements, then I think this game will really suit you.

Unfortunately, I can't say that this game is much better than Alan Wake, but for average players who don't know the Remedy style of games, I think it's a good game. Storytelling has a really amazing plot, but it is quite confusing due to finding documents and videos that start to make sense towards the end of the game. If you have a free weekend and don't know what to play, I think this game could keep you entertained.

MY PROS AND CONS:

✔ Great story
✔ Well done gameplay system
✔ A superbly designed environment
✔ Good optimization
✔ Sliders to adjust difficulty
✔ Pleasant game length

✘ Very complex areas
✘ Other versions of your gun are useless
✘ Bosses have advanced AI

Activision promised us that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II would be different and establish a "New Era" as they said, practically yes, the New Era is just that the creators decided to release Call of Duty on Steam again after 5 years, but when we'll get to the review of the game itself, so it's up to you to judge New Era.
Anyway let's start the Campaign, honestly there isn't much to say as the old familiar 1-4-1 unit from past MWs is back. Old acquaintances: Soap, Ghost, Price and Gaz + Farah. This is our unit along with the Mexican Task Forces led by Alejandro Vargas and also the Shadow unit led by Graves. You have a simple task and that is to progress in the fight against AQ from the previous installment of Modern Warfare, but then things get a little bit twisted, but you will find out for yourself. However, in terms of new mechanics and gameplay, I have to say that the Modern Warfare II campaign is really different from the other parts. It has an awareness of the gameplay, but it is really different, both the Multiplayer and the Campaign are no longer Run & Gun, but rather a tactical FPS game. The campaign is practically amazing and I really enjoyed it, but some passages are more than stressful and especially difficult, for example long-range sniping, advancing an occupied area with no weapon and little chance of survival... yes, sometimes you want to pull your hair out , but overall it's a very good Campaign and from my point of view probably the best Campaign (from the point of view of gameplay) that I've ever played. However, as for some passages, it is sometimes annoying.

Now Multiplayer... oh boy. Multiplayer has changed so much that I can't even describe all the changes. Weapons are now (finally) only maxed out at 20 LVL. So the Grind of weapons and attachments will no longer last a Year. But they are converted into trees, from which you unlock other weapons and get additional attachments for the original weapon, which mixes up the meta a bit, since you will have 3x more Attachments and 3x higher chance to build a completely different weapon from the original one, now it just depends on you if you see it as a Bonus or as an unnecessary thing. I personally see it as a very cool thing and especially as a great chance for a breakthrough in meta builds (We'll see when Warzone 2.0 is released) As for Gameplay itself, yes, you can play Run & Gun again as usual, but you won't be able to do it much anymore, because the classic gameplay changes to Aim Down Sights Only. Because you have to aim your weapon at practically every corner and always be alert. The game mods are back in full swing with new maps and new tactics, I honestly like that they are adding new mods like Hostage Secure, or adding back...G..Ground War... (What is that anyway?) Oh well it doesn't matter, everyone has their own interests, but now if you're going to play Multiplayer you'll have to think things through a bit, or just take the Shotgun and go and press LMB like an idiot... That works too. However, in the end I have to say that the new Call of Duty brings a Revolution in the Call of Duty Franchise. People who like headless action probably have to forgive themselves for this in the new COD or have strong nerves and play Free For All. If you are thinking about buying this game and you are used to the previous parts, I think you should unlearn it as soon as possible, because I am also getting used to not being able to shoot in Slide anymore. However, if you are loyal to the Call of Duty brand, then I think that you already have this game like me and have Pre-ordered it. Thanks for reading though and Stay Frosty.
