its basically the same with all Ubisoft games Ive had, there is a period of a few hours of troubleshooting to get their games to work, and when they finally do, the stability of them is very weak. and so with ACS, same story, installed the game, followed by a ton of BOSDs, a few hours of windows debugging, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, "which i might add worked sortof good for two days" but then totally flipped out after a compleatly unrelated VM driver update. now i have it all working again, and all my mastery points are gone, hours of work, pffft. and on that, i would say, dont bother. but if you get a smooth ride and the game plays ok, then yeah its pretty cool

So the game released yesterday, My recommendation is to hold off purchasing it untill a few more patches have been rolled out to fix the sharder building issue.

IF you have a very powerful PC, i.e a killer CPU, plenty of cores pushing an average of 4.5Ghz, at least 16GB of ram and NVME disks, with a GPU that is the equivlent of 1080 TI OC or higher. then buy the game.
Provided your computer is fully up to date and functioning in a stable manner, then the issue you will experiance is an extreamly low shader build. this aspect of the port of this game is not properly optamized but it is only a matter of time i would assume that this would be fixed as the company wants to make money and this issue is going to prevent it from doing so.

This issue however DOES NOT, mean you cannot play the game, IT DOES mean you have to wait a while before it will launch and then play in a stable manner. you can play while the shaders are still buidling but your experiance visually and functionally is probably not going to be great. Get to about 60 / 70% and then launch and you should be fine. (this was my experaiance from TWO different high end comuputers.

It took me a bit over an hour to get to 60%.
So yeah getting the game up and running in a stable playable state, takes time, that said. The game its self is an extreamly good game, anyone who has played this on a Playstation can verify.

My input here to those thinking of buying, wait for a few patches to roll out.
For those of you who have the game, I feel your frustration, I too am in the same ballpark, but rest assured they are going to fix this soon if they plan on trying to make any money from it.

I will keep testing it to see if I can find any methods to speed up the shader building.

This is a brilliant game. and it is even more fun when you play with other people.
Its hard, challenging, and its rewarding.

I will say that when you start, there is a learning period. like getting your head around how to use the inventories and building menus, how to build. I personally find dodging a little tricky to pull off. but once you get the hang of the controls and the game, the actual game and gameplay is very good.
I can recommend this game,

Brilliant game, once you get passed the beginning grind and research.
to the point where you have unlocked the basics.

this game becomes really really REALLY fun. the binds that you get your self into, and the work you have to do to get your self out of those properly unlucky situations just puts a smile on your face or steams you up with rage.

My mate and I have been playing this together now for a few weeks, and the funny situations we have found our selves in, or the solutions we have found to problems. Just really funny.

If you do play this game, here is a personal achievement for you. we call it the Elon Roadser achievemnt
build a ramp not to high, put x2 thrusters on a rover, sit your self and your mate on the rover, and ramp off your ramp until you loose gravity and reach space. and then while your up there, the driver needs to eject from the drivers seat and the passenger needs to TRY and get into the drivers seat. Do this properly and you both get an un-lockable achievement and have an extreme amount of fun in the process. this game is epic

I got into this thinking it would be a simple run around in your face shooter with lots of blood. and it is, but there are a few things that make it challenging like you have to kill monsters in a certain way to unlock stuff.
For a short while this is fun but it does start to feel a little repetitive. Progression in this game is all about finding Coins Crystals and Mods. and in some cases these things which make the game more fun, require you to kind of Tomb Raider Puzzle solve your way by jumping around to get to places. I do feel it could have been better developed. but if your looking to just switch off and plough through endless amount of mobs, then this is the game for you.

Very fun, this is basically an interactive movie where the story changes based on the dialouge decisions you make. there is not much skill required. your options are WSAD "forward back left and right" Q and E to block and hit. and you are promted during the story telling which key to press, this is not an action game. the story however is what you are paying for, it is very well done, and I personally am looking forward to getting into season 2, and really hope there will be many more seasons to come. This story mode has definatly given me some ideas and drive to get into minecraft and get building.

It would be really great if the worlds of story mode were available for players to enter into in MC.

Excellent, Just finished, and my TIP to you all is, USE the CAMERA, take lots of good pics, you will not regret it.
Probably better enjoyed by an older more mature audience, (20s +) exciting, dramatic, emotional fun story.

I give this game a thumbs up. As honest as I can be, I really enjoyed the previous games, (absolutle recommendation) and was hoping for the same epic enjoyment from this game and I would be dishonest if I said it did not pull through, It was very fun. However This game could have been alot better, Not enough wepons, still missing a silent sniper rifle, I know it makes it more challenging not to have one but im just a stone cold silen assasin, I bought the game for single player only, and am reviewing on single player only. The story was too short, You can finish this game in a day if you have a day to kill. I did it in two days on the hardest settings. The functionality of the game also could have been better, There are parts of the game you rely on sound to suppress your gun fire noise and you can clearly notice the hard line of (if i step here i get the noise indicator to cover my shot, but one step to the right here and i dont, instead of a faded out area. and the AI, well when you alert one, the entire map knows your around untill you move x ammount of meters from the spotted location untill you have reached a (re located) status and are back undercovre. I do miss a menu explaining how to acheive the perks, maybe its right infront of me and i cant see it but as an end user, I have not noticed it and thus its programmed poorly.
So yeah the above is quite a weight of negitve and cons but in saying that, the game is challenging, exciting and if your like me and you really want to push to wipe out eveyone with perfection. then the Pros are 51% and you should get the game, I have completed it 3 times now and am about to play again, really fun game, so mo cam, priceless, screw headshots, aim for the balls.

This game is on the positive side of OK, if your waiting for a game to come out and want to kill time, this is the game to play,

Story is alright, game play is fair, graphics are good, Fighting is very good and quite fun, and there is a good bit of skill involved and required when fighting, I think this whole game was made around the fighting.

It feels like a cheap grand theft auto. and I only recommend it because the game is so cheap. I did enjoy playing it and give it a 5/10
