This game has only been on Steam for like two months and it is announced this month that the game is shutting down. Honestly I only tried and liked the comic book section of the game. I had and have no interest in PVP card battles. I think the game had way too heavy updates that would completely remove a playable comic book, at least for free play, and replace it with an all new comic book, or at least new to the game because I know that all these comic books are actual real comic books that were physically published by DC Comics back in the day or a few years ago. I thought it was fun and cool to see a comic book that I own or just seen or knew about to have a new playable or interactive comic book version in this game. I think too much was put in the game and then asking for a monthly fee to unlock and play the comic books and whatever else the monthly fee gave seemed overpriced to me. I get it is a game that was made free and that the developers of the game want to make a profit and thought a monthly fee would of worked but I think that it clearly did not and others, like myself, did not purchase anything from this game. Honestly i would like to see just the comic book version of the card game continue and rename and make a new game called DC Interactive Comic Books, or DC Comic Book Force, or something like that, with the same comic book card games and maybe throw in some of that match 3 or more gems game to mix up the game play. Also some completely new comic books perhaps made just for the game that could be purchased for like only $1.00 or free if that the route developers can take. I think being able to customize the cards would have helped make the game funner. I don't think I had a Superman card but I think it would of been cool to have one that shoots heat vision on a card and then can upgrade the card to shoot heat vision on all enemy cards. I found the game to be harder than what I wanted it to be and harder than games that I like to play. I did not see an easy mode option or selected it and the game still seemed hard to play at times. I couldn't enjoy the comic book if I could not get past the enemy card that seemed I could not beat, so I could not finish reading the comic book story. There are some simple tweaks that can be made in my opinion to make the game better and perhaps more successful. Perhaps in another form or in a completely new game since this game is shutting down.
I livestreamed this game on my twitch channel: https://www.twitch.tv/anthonycztv and I think I got decent viewers but it might of been because I enabled drops. Honestly I do not know if I ever got any drops from livestreaming or watching other live streams because I never saw anything in the game that said I got this from Twitch. My Twitch channel said I earned drops but the last Twitch drops from the game were odd because I saw i could earn Part 3 and Part 4 Twitch drops yet after watching the required time to get the drops, I only got or earned Part 3 drops and could not earn any Part 4 drops. I think I earned all of Part 1 and Part 2 drops on Twitch but honestly not sure if I got them in the game. For me, Twitch drops are odd and even if it says I earned Twitch drops, I check in another game and do not see anything like a different game I supposedly earned a different color marble or different color car for another game, still don't see those but those are not this game so that doesn't really matter. I think a Twitch drop should not only be a drop item to get for the game, but also a new emote or something that can be used on Twitch.
Perhaps this game just needs a new developer that knows how to make content that doesn't take huge amounts of space, which seemed like huge daily downloads, or at least a huge download happened every time I played or tried to play the game. The memory size of the card pictures and the memory size of the comic book pages were probably extremely high in bytes and slowed the game, among other problems like having the game be online so needed an online server that probably could not afford or the server could not handle the hundreds or thousands of players. I did not really need the game to be online since I only played the comic book section of the game , not sure if that was online only, but of course needed online to download the new comic book content. I could go more into stuff but it might get too nerdy and some won't understand and I don't want to publicly discuss EVERYTHING , so if the developer wants to contact me for any help, advice, or whatever, contact me at anthonycztv@gmail.com , this goes for anyone else that wants my help because I have many skills and talents that I hope show though my online presence.
