I saw a community report a while back that basically said that Steam is going to be paying attention and doing some moderation on every forum. Meaning every community hub/game forum on Steam from what i gather. Meaning that you're all probably going to want to watch what you say very carefully now.
Ever since i saw the report i just disengage out of any arguments that erupt on the forums now as you know some twit is going to report it and be a little suckup to Steam. The report most likely goes straight to the eyes of Steam's moderation team now which from what i've seen with Alt's ban, don't take ♥♥♥♥ from anyone. Until i hear that they're stopping their moderation, i ain't taking risks in any way whatsoever and don't say anything that's gonna piss em off. I suggest anyone reading this does the same for the sake of your freedom of speech.
Hope that helps some folks and provides a bit of clarity anyway.
