@The Stone Warrior I think you referring to Spiderman, and yes I mention something like that, and probably the biggest issue is mostly how little background there is for most of the villains, except for Dr. Octavious, even Lee after finding out he is Mr. Negative, there is any room left besides he is just the bad guy and wants revenge.

The replies I mostly got is that is that people already know the villains, so there is no reason to invest on their motives or who they are; which to me is just a miss oportunity. The Spiderman games are relatevely short, so I guess there is not enough room to tell the stories of all characters in a more meaningful way.

Hi, quick question, you mentioned in a forum a while back that a game's story was pretty bad "even for a superhero game", and I was a bit confused. What types of games were you referring to? Do you have an issue with the way the big companies do it, because I don't see why a superhero game would inherently be expected to be bad.
