1. Power and Inequality
How do political institutions contribute to the persistence of social and economic inequality?
Evaluate the role of laws, bureaucracies, and policy design in shaping unequal outcomes. Consider whether institutions primarily reduce inequality or reproduce existing power hierarchies.
5. Linear Data Structures (12 pts)
In lab 2, you implemented an ArrayList, a Singly Linked List (SLL), and a hybrid data structure called the BalancedList. The BalancedList could be viewed as a Singly Linke List of ArrayLists.
For this problem, you are asked to design and implement a new hybrid data structure called the IndexedList, which can be thought of as an ArrayList of Singly Linked Lists. The IndexedList achieves O(log n) worst-case time complexity for the get() operation.
