I want to recommend this because it's one of my all-time favorite games, but this version is plagued with crash issues. I was able to muster through the majority of them, but now that I've reached Esthar on disc 3, I can't seem to make it through the city without it crashing no matter what I do, so I guess that's it for my adventure for now.

If you want an idea of how much I struggled with crashes, check this: Steam says I have played it for 41.7 hours so far. The in-game save clock says 31:31, and there's no way I spent more than an hour total reloading for RNG / card reasons.

Play ANY other version except this one!

FOLLOW UP: I bought a Steam Deck and decided to try it once more on that rather than a PC, and I'll be damned, it has run amazingly without any issues on the Steam Deck, so I'm actually finishing the game. Though it still hasn't changed my mind regarding this review; not like everyone can just drop their PC for a while to buy a Steam Deck just to complete this game. All I know is that because of this, it's likely either a Windows issue in general, Windows 11 issue specifically, or AMD Windows driver issue. Who knows...
