Ok, so I'm coming back to my beloved/hated Hunt:slowdown after a year or more of quitting, and just found out some things that still make me not recommend the game even when I still kind of enjoy it:

  • When the server performance goes to hell doing insane rubberbanding the voice chat will stay disabled even for the next matches until you restart your client.

  • Matchmaking is kinda unfair, and it feels way more that way after the last big update about the last new map and ui, you'll get matched on 6star lobbies even when u are 3-4 having no chance of even win a single fight (I know i'm bad)


  • Idon't understand why the game's visual tone is so arbitrarily dark, since even the game menus aren't clear. You absolutely have to modify the values ​​of your monitor, the game's gamma, or your video driver to be able to see anything in the dark. I haven't had to do that in any other game I currently have in my Steam library.

  • If you are not a fan of stealth and you like to run and shoot and have fun action this is not yer game, you can enjoy this in the lower mmr lobbies but above 5-6 is a sweat fest of camping done in a very ridiculous way, so much so that it's almost as if the game encourages this as the only way to win, and if you don't have the patience for this, well, good luck. lol

  • I feel like the audio is quite diff, not bad or worse but sometimes is really hard to track a sound where it comes from, specially if another player is above or below, and deff only making sound when the other player is already too close.

  • Reconnecting feature is defective, inconsistent, most of the times it will take years to reconnect showing you an empty map.


  • And regarding the cheaters:
    "Crytek refuses to modify hidden stats. They probably never will, considering they "fixed" the attributes file.

    Accounts with 200KD that use Magic-bullet take days to get banned, ruining who knows how many matches."
