I played this game twice on my Steam Deck for a total of 13 hours.

The game is fine I guess...

Overall I liked this game a lot. There are some issues with it but it's gorgeous looking and maybe even the best looking game I've ever played so far.

The athmospthere is amazing! There are different environments and all are well designed IMO.
The performance is really bad with RTX on and it's outright unplayble at MAX settings without FSR with my RTX3080 but there are almost no stuttering when FSR is enabled and the game looks amazing at 1440p with Quality FSR.

The story is OK but there are some gaps in the characters. Game mechanics can be a tad repetative but still fun especially in the second half of the game.

For any Dead Space fan I still strongly recommend this game. It's not Dead Space but it gives a very strong 'Dead Space' vibe and is worth playing but not at full price!

This game is like heroin, you must try it but be very careful. You will be addicted immediatly.
Hands down Game Of The Year!

If you never played this trilogy you have missed a whole lot in your life!

I am a huge fan of Half-Life world and I was stunned by Alyx but now it's tome to nominate a game for GotY and the choice between it and this masterpiece is imensly difficult. Until I saw a GotY VR game which helped with the decision. Outside VR this is the most amazing game I played this year and one of the best games in all times.

Gameplay is different, story is different, eveything has it's own signiture. Once I started I could not stop until I finished the story. It's an amazing jorney that I recommend for all to try. Maybe not all will like but at least give it a go.

What I did not like much are the logn cutscenes. Altho this is expected from a Kojima game and the story is so involving at times the lenght of the cutscenes even kills the mood.

I love how this game just keeps getting better and better .... and the best part is that it's all for FREE. It's a shame that it started so badly with the initial release and still cannot clear it's name.

I strongly recommend to give it a shot if you are into these kind of games (crafting/exploring). VR works alright but the overall experience on my oppinion is excelent. I am yet to try the last couple of updates.

I can't imagine a game that's getting more love from the Devs than this one. Yet another year full of amazing and FREE updates!

This game really fits the nomination "Best Game you suck at".

I love it and I am having amazing fun at it while everyone is owning me (so probably they are having fun as well)

EDIT in 2023 and I am now nominating this game for "Labor of love" as the developers really show dedication tho support this amazing game. Kudos!

Micro transactions and payed content aside, the game is actual fun and i really hope it gets out of early access soon and more people get into it!

I admit my motivation to write this review were the steam awards but nevertheless this game deserves it.

I admire the work that the studio put into this game and keeps putting. Even after release a lot of additional features and modes were released and all that for FREE. This was the norm back in the days but nowadays it is quite uncommon.

The game is fun, entertaining and challenging. Despite initial performance and stability issues that moslty are fixed now I have no regrets purchasing it and I strongly reccomend it to all of you guys that like the genre.

This game is once in a lifetime experience! I relly want to play it again for the first time.
