Thanks again. I'm sorry about just plopping that out there, I'm in Washington State to visit my mother. We had planned this long before the tragedies struck. It's basically all that is on our minds at the moment. That and finding the freakin car keys!

I buried Jake(My Dog) on my land a few days after his passing. He was very sick, he was suffering from kidney failure. He couldn't stand up straight, he was absolutely empty of life.

I was sobbing on the floor at the vet. They were so kind to have sent us a card. Needless to say, I'm still pretty sad about it, but before the flight I visited him a few times.

I will do so until it's my time.

James Thomas, a retired Green Beret who served as a medic was taken by Covid. He died the day before my mother and him were to marry.

I never truly got to see him.
