Aesthetically, this game is consistent: two-dimensional sprites against a three-dimensional environment. The background isn't very detailed, but the sprites are well-drawn and animated, although they are slightly pixelated. There's a lot of it, too, and if you're buying this, that's all you probably care about. In terms of gameplay, it really isn't anything exciting. There's a heavy emphasis on hand-to-hand combat, and the level design is reminiscent of the GBA Castlevania titles. It isn't the worst thing in the world, but it doesn't flow very naturally, and until you unlock some of the later abilities, it is very boring. If this is your thing, then go for it, but my money is best spent elsewhere.

This is my new favorite game of all time. I was absolutely invested straight from the beginning and up until the end. It's significantly better than Divinity Original Sin II, that's for sure. I'm just sad I won't be able to experience it for the first time again.

I don't like MMOs, and I certainly don't favor free-to-play titles. Both markets have been equally desecrated with terrible business practices, human rights violations, and a general abundance of complacency and greed. Now, I'm not here to say that Warframe is entirely exempt of any of these terrible attributes, as it offers a fair amount of micro-transactions, some amounting to triple digit prices. At very specific, but inevitable moments, the grind can feel almost unbearable. Crafting times and prerequisites for certain items are just unreasonable, and some aspects of the game are bizarrely inconsistent, which is mostly a side effect of the game being over a decade old.

But Warframe is an entirely worthwhile experience. There is truly a insurmountable surplus of content to indulge yourself in, especially for new players. It can seem daunting at first, but once you get the ball rolling, it all just clicks. You don't have to spend a single dollar, and you're consistently showered with rewards for making any sort of progression. And if you have an issue, your cries won't fall on deaf ears. Digital Extremes have proven themselves to be some of the most competent and attentive developers in the modern gaming landscape. They consistently host community events, run in-game promotions in which you can acquire sought-after items for free, and generally just listen to their players. As a free title, they know that they are nothing without their players, so they respect them accordingly.

And you can't forget about the Warframes themselves, the stars of the show. They're the playable characters in this game, and they have a variety of abilities, ranging from absolutely situational, to eternally oppressive. The roster is impressively diverse, ranging from depictions of folklore and mythology, to remixes of classic archetypes. There's a flying pregnant woman, a self-duplicating monkey man, a sentry-summoning monarch, and a fat guy who rolls around on the floor. And with a little help from the game's point-based modding system, you can tweak their capabilities exactly to your liking.

Grendel pls be my boyfriend. i will cook for you every day. i can't imagine a world without you. xoxo. my pookie bear.

Nekojishi is a slice-of-life/dating sim visual novel. You take the role of a human male in college. One day, as you return to your room, you're met with the sight of three fluffable-cat men. Out of the bunch, Leopard Cat is probably the least interesting. He's your flamboyant classmate-turned-vessel... he's too touchy for my tastes. Clouded Leopard is my favorite, with his broken language and man-of-few-words demeanor, but I do have a soft spot for Tiger, who plays the role of your guardian figure. As the game goes on, you are given the opportunity to make choices that will effect the course of the narrative. Surprisingly, this game comes with decent amount of world-building and lore, although there are various subjects that are really only briefly touched upon. I did enjoy the presence of the dragons, but they admittedly felt a little tacked on. It also has quite a few endings, and let me just tell you... things get ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bizarre. I completed all of them, and honestly, I was a peeved at how cliffhangered/deadlocked some of the endings were... a little bit of elaboration would be appreciated.

Overall, this isn't the best visual novel out there, but for what it is, it's quite cute. It's also free, so if you don't like it, then there's no money wasted. And if you know what I'm talking about, you can even unlock some hidden content...

Ten out of ten. Would fluff again.

Overwatch 2 is not a sequel.
Overwatch 2 is a complete downgrade.
They promised us several things, but all they did was remove a massive portion of the game, lock all of the skins behind an expensive paywall, and most horribly, lie about the selling point of the game.
You see, Overwatch 2 was supposed to launch with a cooperative campaign, with skill trees, and story choices. We never got any of that. As it turned out, for several years, while actively telling us that PvE was being developed… It was silently canceled behind closed doors. Some people act like this isn’t a big deal, and that they’re glad that the developers can focus on what really matters, the core gameplay experience… These people are wrong. Without PvE, Overwatch 2 has no reason to exist. This is effectively just the first game, but worse in every aspect.

Darkest Dungeon II is an entirely worthwhile experience. Trust me; buying this game treats you to 100 hours of pain, suffering, and hope. It isn't worse than the first game, and I can understand why somebody would say, but this game is just... more understandable. And in my opinion, less exploitable. The first game was borderline automatic if you played the right way. Here, you'll do with what you have, and while the relationship mechanic gets incredibly detrimental and downright frustrating times, trust me, you'll be able to make it work.

This game suffers from a terrible, TERRIBLE disease. It's called children. They're around every corner, wearing the most inappropriate avatars, in every public and private world. If you have children, keep them far away from VRChat... because when there's honey, there's bees. Keep your kids safe, and don't let them talk to random adults on the internet.
